From what I understand, the Green Pact mandates that the Bosmer of Valenwood must never harm any plant life and that they are responsible for defending the forest from anyone who would seek to damage it in any way. Some are extremely zealous in their service to the Green Pact, one Bosmer going so far as to try killing a Khajiit who picked a flower in Grahtwood. On the other hand, Bosmer who are more exposed to Imperial, Altmeri, and other influences are more liberal in their interpretation of the Pact, leading them to import wood and produce from other provinces. Still, these more lenient Bosmer continue to detest logging in Valenwood and it is a consensus among a vast majority of the Bosmeri people that the Green Pact must be adhered to in Valenwood, if nowhere else. My questions is this: does Valenwood have any indisputable borders? I've looked at a few maps of Tamriel and it appears that each end of Valenwood's coast is punctuated by a river estuary. I was unable to tell if the inland border of Valenwood was actually a river, but it seems to meander and curve at random places, suggesting this is the case. Does anyone have any lore to back this hypothesis up?
