on the Brink of a Crisis

With a lot of talk about Brink in game with consistent players of the crysis community Crysis to me with all the flaws is an amazing game but on May 10th will the players i have been seeing disappear', Crytek better get more involved with their community, and update the things most killing the gameplay because after a month of its release the players have dropped dramatically...

To be honest, I don't think their concern is really with us anymore. They seemed still more focused on the PC customers than console users.

Depending on the success of Brink, some may still be around.

I won't be around, I need a change now and Brink looks fantastic despite the "poor" graphics compared to CryEngine 3.

Brink is a bigger game, theres alot of hype surrounding it. I expect brink to have more problems because IT is a bigger game. Just from looking at the gameplay its not nearly as exciting. the only thing thats really cool is being able to customize the look and gear youll have, and the s.m.a.r.t. button. other than those reasons i think the game will have more balancing issues, more bugs, more problems. the game will have a **** ton of players for the first week then youll just see people complaining about everything. Personally i find crysis 2 to be a great game on every level. its one of the few fps i think is made just right. my only complaint is armor mode(mp) is a little lacking but i see that getting fixed.

I think those that purchase Brink and other games for that matter will still come back to play Crysis2.

I don’t understand why people say I’ll drop this game for that game, as long as a game holds your interest you’ll play it.

Personally I’m playing at anyone time between 4 and 7 games a month, depending on what I’m in the mood for, so when I feel like a game of Crysis I’ll play it, if I’m in the mood for Red River, COD, H-Front, APB the list is long….

But you are right about one thing; the Crysis community is getting smaller and Crytek should be more interactive with it’s community, since “gamesas” is supposed to be a community, I would have thought that Crytek should be taking an active part in it as well.

People won't be coming back to Crysis if they are doing what the majority of us will be doing - trading it in for Brink.

I'm sure the developers of Brink won't forget about the people who have BOUGHT THEIR GAME and show shambolic customer care.

Brink doesnt look to impressive. Customization seems fun but that wont make the MP good. People will just boost in SP to get their character at a high level to dominate MP. And no dedicated servers, so expect LAG

Ive not heard about brink, but I dont care about the hype of a game anymore. I learnt my lesson a time long ago. EVER GAME that comes out at launch has issues & brink will be no different. Its the norm with games nowadays.

Yea, I never thought of that, if that's the case your right.

Fingers crossed your wrong m8, and I was hoping for dedicated servers :(

Guess we'll have to wait and see, so if brink does suffer lag then what hope is there for battlefield 3.

A lot of guys do do a lot of whining in this game and a lot of people don't realize that communication and tteam work can make a huge difference in this game
