Can't answer it yet, because I don't have the game. Nonetheless, this looks like a good poll.

Brink is amazing, but the damn latency is atrocious, I've never seen lag this bad, even in Gears of War.

This is a well thought out poll. Thanks. You should maybe add "What Platform are you playing on?"

Xbox 360: Game's good. Though...the graphics (weird blur, non-loading textures etc.) and the networking is god awful.

The bots are absolutely atrocious. During the second Security mission (which I can't seem to beat solo), I kid you not, there was a bot who had the "datakey" who was just standing there, not doing anything. Just turning and looking. None of the enemy bots came to kill him. I couldn't kill him. I couldn't order him to move. I couldn't order him to give me the flag (and let's be honest, the last phase of that mission is a modified CTF scenario). I wasted 8 minutes because the bot wouldn't do anything.

Also, when you set the mission difficulty to Easy (which I did after beating my head against the wall half a dozen times on Normal), one would think that it would actually be easier. Not so. There was no appreciable difference between playing the mission on Normal and playing it on Easy.

Other than the friendly idiot-bots the game is pretty sweet imo.

I'm the only one who is playing co-op.

This game NEEDS dedicated servers, I plan on returning/selling it this weekend. A game that was based around online play that doesn't have dedicated servers is a terrible idea, but what do you want from a BETHESDA, they have never had online games before.

My only major disappointments are the availability of servers (not really Brink's fault) and the fact that several of the challenges are silly to do solo considering the fact that the AI is so [censored] horrible. There are also some level balance issues that come to mind (*cough*container city*cough*).

Other than that, I really find the game enjoyable. I feel like the objective system is set up nicely to keep teams working together sans actual communication. The shooting is fun, and it's made more enjoyable with the addition of SMART (if you don't like SMART, you either haven't played a light, or you're not doing it right).

I'm lacking in optimism for the game though, as I'm getting a really nasty "APB" vibe from the community and reviewers (I like it, but no one else seems to). Luckily, not having a subscription fee means the game will stick around for a while, but I don't feel it's going to have the staying power that other competitive FPS's have.

Lag and the handicapped bots are the biggest issues for the 360. The weapons are lackluster too. Why does equipping a Drum Magazine only carry the same amount of ammo as a few tiny magazines? Why even offer the Drum attachment if SD knew that they were going to gimp it? Odd decisions like this one make Brink feel forced. Fun game but SD stopped making a great game when they gimped it for the sake of the concept.

After beating the Resistance campaign I can safely say Im in love with Brink. This is one of the most fantastic games Ive played, the choke points give it challenge in some areas while the SMART system and level design let smart people get behind enemy lines, there is huge potential for strategy and team thinking. Heavys charge in head first and occupy the opposing team while lights an mediums go around back and hit em hard.

Enjoying it so far.

The bots are kind of idiots and I get the grid texture issue on and off, but other than that I don't have any real gripes. Loving the SMART system and the customization.

I think this typical of most comments and of the poll;
SMART: useful
Customisation: impressive
Latency: debilitating
Bots: dumb

I was on the fence big time about getting this but I said what the heck and traded in Crysis 2, Call of Duty Black Ops, and Red Dead Redemption to Best Buy for this game. Lol, Gave up a lot and got a game with a ton of potential. If the lag gets addressed my trades will be worth it. I have played a few great games lag free already and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bots are very difficult even on easy as a posted above me said, maybe it would be easier if the bots on your team would actually do something. Customization is sorely lacking I was expecting pages and pages full of items to create a guy all my own, but the options are limited severely. SD made it seem like there would be infinite possibilities, but that's just not the case at all.

Right now I'd give this a 7/10, fix the netcode I'd gladly bump that score up to 8-8.5.

These can and will be fixed soon if SD cares about continuing as a game developer.

Man, you went all in. I applaud your bravery. I'm still riding the fence on this one. Been waiting for months for this release, but I can't get a true feeling of the value on this game. The threads and reviews are all over the map - they all come with the "it's a great game/it svcks - if only "blank" didn't occur." Based on the 3 forums I have been monitoring for the past two days - this is definitely a rent before buy (or buy used with the option to return [GS]).

playing offline on PS3 for obvious reasons. I love just about everythign about the game, although i wish the bots had better reaction times and decision making processes.

On the sig - If you are going to go with the language of Republic stick with Cicero or Caesar (or Cato if you are feeling brave) instead of Chris LeDoux

To start off, very nice poll.

I love Brink. It is the game I've been waiting for since Global Agenda went bad. There are a few problems such as lag and stupid bots but overall it is a great game, imo.

As for the customization, I was expecting more. There is a lot to choose from but it seems a little lacking, imo. It's not so much the lack of clothes as it is the lack of colours. Now, I didn't vote for it being a sub-par experience but I would like to see more colours in the future. For example, my favourite colour is red, but I'm having a hard time finding a red [censored] for my security character.

Now, the campaign... I'm very disappointed in this department. I've only played a couple missions but so far every mission plays almost exactly like a multiplayer match. Also, I find the story a bit hard to follow. This is probably due to the absence of very many cut scenes and the one that are there (at the beginning and end of a mission) are quite short. I started with the Security campaign and they were talking about this Chen guy while I has absolutely no idea who he was (maybe a missed something?) until I played the first level of the Resistance campaign.

Overall, I feel very optimistic.

this game is awful right now......If I buy a game that is multiplayer focused it should be good to go out of the box, no lag, allowing people to join as parties then search for maps, etc....this game has none of that, when I saw it getting slammed in reviews I thought that it couldn't be that bad, I was right cause it is worse, I would give this a 4.5/10 right now.

the textures are slow to load
its a multiplayer game that is unplayable cause of the lag
no party system
been delayed for 3 years and its still a P.O.S
