I'll have to re-read it but from what I remember Josh beat up Mortiarty then killed all his workers, shot the merc then stabbed Sherrif Simms in such a way he'd live as long as he got prompt medical attention.

Oh yeah I stabbed Lucas, knocked out Moriarty.
