It was only morning as the two, Alex and Mary, walked over to a bar which was reopening for some unknown reason. The waiter must've been happy to see us, because he jumped up and shouted, "Our first two customers!" The waiter was cleaning a completely clean cup as he grinned.
"Two beers!" Alex ordered the waiter, and as fast as a whiz turned around and grabbed two bears from a refrigerator. He turned to the two again, a full smile on his face. Everyone seemed to be as happy as a sea sponge after a nuclear war that destroyed all of America.
"Here ya'll go, that'll be ten caps." the waiter ordered Alex to pay his ten caps. He reached into his pockets and got his wallet out. He payed the waiter with a tip and the two clanked their beers together. They drank a sip when the waiter told them some gossip.
"Did ya hear Moriarty got murdered like...a few days ago. I wish someone would take control of this town..." sighed the waiter. He seemed depressed, as if someone would lend him a magnum, he'd blow his brains out.
"Hmm, how would you like to join our Mafia?" Alex asked the waiter. He looked up, a little bit happier, and nodded. He seemed ecstatic, well, he was ecstatic, but Mary couldn't tell why.
"Sure!" the waiter said. Now Mary knew why he was so happy, because of the offer. She had assumed that, but wasn't quite sure.
"Good, you got any friends who would join?" Alex asked the waiter. Mary thought that line was kind of desperate, but she went with it, she wanted more members anyway.
"Yea, all of em. Thats about 20 people, a 10th of the population here." the waiter said. Mary was pretty surprised that he had known so quickly that they would've liked to join.
"Good, get them to the house closest to the Megaton Gate tomorrow. Tell em to bring everything they can carry." Alex said as Mary and him finished their beers. Mary slammed her beer glass on the table, and grinned at the waiter.
"Lets go to our new house." said Alex as they walked to the abandoned house, it wasn't the Talon Company one, it was another one. Mary thought it looked good from the outside, she should've waited until she saw the inside. "Looks good," she said as they entered. Her real thought were: "This place is beautiful, it's the prettiest thing I've ever seen, I want to sleep here all day and not have to worry of the dangers of the Wastes." But if she said that, her reputation as a bad girl would vanish. Mary turned to ask Alex a question, and saw him looking at her.
"Errrrm, does this place have a shower?"
