Lucas "Reaper" Caine - Scarlet Lance H.Q. - Personal Quarters

Lucas sat behind his desk within the confines of his office deep in what was once Fort Independence. Looking over the revenue transcripts for the last month on the Bazaar the Lance's trading hub in the Capital Wasteland. Sipping on a glass of scotch Lucas noticed that automatic rifles were almost out of stock which he couldn't allow to happen as there were big caps on those kinds of weapons. Swiveling his chair to the table behind his desk Lucas flipped on the ham radio he kept there. He then spent a minute tuning the radio to the Black Sun frequency. Once getting the correct frequency Lucas lifted the receiver to his mouth.

"Fisher this is Reaper, over?"

For several minutes Lucas got nothing but static until a raspy voice could be heard.

"Fisher here. I read you Reaper. What can I do for you, over?"

"Need a shipment of automatic rifles. What do you need and how long before a trade can be made, over?"

"Your in luck we got a pretty big shipment from the Pitt not to long ago. Now I can't sell 'em all to ya but I could go half for some of them fancy lightbringers you got, over."

"How many lightbringers you need, over?"

"Twenty-five should do in any condition but I want two-hundred energy cells to go with 'em, over."

"Deal. It'll take a couple days to get them together. We still meeting at Landmark Graqes, over?"

"Of course, over."

"Very good Fisher, over and out." Lucas said as he replaced the receiver and spun his chair back around.

Downing the rest of his scotch Lucas got up to see how Lance H.Q. was doing today.

OOC: Landmark Graqes is an anagram and whoever solves it gets a :cookie:

Harry leaned back at his desk, yelling into the phone

"No, LISTEN TO ME! I WANT THAT SHIPMENT IN BY TOMORROW, GOT IT? GOOD!" he hung up, and looked at his little office, and he went up to a map.

"Damn Talon Company, just massacred another two caravans." he took two pins off the map "Jenkins! Call up Heather and Johnny, i want them in my office now!"

"Yes Sir!" said his secretary, Tom Jenkins.

Heather White and Johnny Blake, caravaneers, walked into his office and sat down

"What is it sir?" asked Johnny

"Well, we just lost another [censored] caravan to Talon Company. Mieux won't be pleased about this, and you both know that. We need to boost guard duties, and there is no shortage of volunteers." he said

"Well, we should get right on that." Heather said as they got up

"Dismissed" Harry said while he looked at the caravan map

"JENKINS! GET ME ON TO MIEUX!" he barked

"Yes Sir!"

Eric stumbled out of his shack into the crater of Megaton, he looked over to the undetonated bomb. There standing in the irradiated water was Confessor Cromwell and others from the crazy church of Atom. Eric paid them know heed and headed to the saloon.
As he was about to enter he noticed a man leaning on the railings.

'Hay, Colin are you all right?"asked Eric.

Colin Moriarty turned around to look Eric in the face.

"No I'm not alright kid, but I appreciate the concern" said Moriarty, making sure know one could hear him but Eric.

"What happened"

"What happened? I,ll tell you what happened, some bigot punched me unconscious then broke into my warehouse and then he killed all my workers" snarled Moriarty.

"Do you know his name or where he is?" said Eric.

"No I don't know his name and if I knew where he was, I would have [censored] killed by now" roared Moriarty.

Eric nodded and with Moriarty proceeded into the saloon.

Monroe

Launch Control Center Delta - Fort Constantine

Monroe sat at the Commander's desk with his boots on the desktop, and to pass the time he leafed through the 200 year old papers he had picked up off the desk.

"Hopefully Brainiac will find a way to get through that door", thought Monroe as he read a after-action report detailing how Chinese saboteurs had been caught attempting to disable the missile in the silo outside the base a few hours before the world got blown up....good thing he had repressed the urge to use the code he found upstairs to launch it for s**** and giggles. "It was pure luck Mitch found that key in Rivet City." Some bimbo who wh*red herself for drinks had blabbed to Mitch about some loser who she turned tricks with that had told her about his special key that would make him rich.....she followed a hunch and tracked him down and traded some chems for the key and the story. That got them in here, after Brainiac shut down the robots they found another door that didn't work with the single key they had.

"Tenpenny, Dukov, Crowley, and Dave", said aloud as he tossed the clipboard and ancient report back on the desk. Old Man Tenpenny was dead, of course. Mieux had killed him...his story that the Old Man fell on his own was laughable...and took his place. Most likely the real story died with Tenpenny, though he'd sent Mitch back out to see what she could find out about the others. If that got nowhere, he'd consider bringing it up with Mieux if he placed more orders for building supplies. Brainiac was convinced the underground passageways led to the door inside the Bomb Storage building that also required a special key. All those old bombs gave him the creeps, even if the records Brainiac found said they couldn't blow up because the detonators had been stored at some place North of here called "Adams Air Force Base", but it was a good place to store the weapons and ammo they sold for caps or traded for new meat for the Mill. There might be something salable down there, but mainly, Monroe didn't want any surprises. The Old Worlders were nuts and you never knew what sort of crap they left laying around that could kill the unwary or stupid in the blink of an eye. He wouldn't be happy until he knew what was down here.

He heard movement on the stairs to his right, and turned to look. It was Brainiac, followed by a Sentry Bot and a Mr Gutsy.

"No luck, Boss", said Brainiac sadly. "That door isn't budging without the key. Got these bots re-programmed, though. The other sentry bot is screwed though, I'm going to break it up for parts."

"Alright, Brain...", began Monroe. "I've got a question though, what is a 'Minuteman XI?" He then picked up a card off the desk and handed it to him. "And what does this do?"

Brainiac took the card and looked at it and turned ghost white and trembled a bit as he read it and realized what it was, he then walked across the room and looked at one of the still operational control panels, labeled "D Flight Status". As he remembered, 9 of the 10 silos this facility had controlled were empty according to this readout, but the 10th, silo 3, still contained a missile. "Uh, Boss...", said Brainiac, "That's the code to launch this missile here. I think doing that would be a bad idea."

"No [censored], Brainiac.", laughed Monroe, he hadn't seen Braniac this scared since the day five years ago he had stepped into the Arena with nothing but a rusty Chinese sword to win back his freedom. "I don't need you to tell me that. Can you shut that thing down before some pinhead figures out how to fire it?" Monroe only knew all this because the terminal on the Desk in front of him had reacted to the proximity of the card by displaying a readout telling him what Brainiac had just said...but it didn't hurt to remind him he wasn't completely ignorant.

"Sure Boss", said Braniac with great relief as he realized Monroe had been playing stupid to get a rise out of him. "I'll get right on that." He then turned his attention to the panels. "If you're going back up, could you take the bots with you? They need you to put in your voice control override, then they are ready to go where you want".

Monroe repeated the phrase that Brainiac had taught him to the robots, that programmed them to recognize him as thier commander. Once they acknowledged it, he then led them back up through the basemant of the CO's Quarters then outside. "I'll put them in Bomb Storage for now", thought Monroe. "Got enough bots on patrol already." Seeing that the escort for the latest meat shipment bound for the Pitt to the Train Tunnel....10 bodies, not a bad haul...had just returned safely, he trudged up the hill to Bomb Storage, the robots following obediently behind.

Borgia Manus

Borgia and Jerry encountered little resistance on their way to Tenpenny Tower, aside from a few radscorpians and a single raider, wandering around the RobCo building alone. The tower was quite a sight to behold, and could be seen from a distance, as it was one of the largest constructs in the Capital Wasteland.

Borgia approached the closed gate at the surrounding wall of the tower. It seemed about the same as when Borgia last visited, perhaps there was a few more guards wandering around. They were also better dressed. Borgia pulled Jerry to the side.

"Equip yourself, son. Normally Tenpenny wouldn't have anything to do with the people who reside in his tower, and didn't even notice the disappearance of the last one. But this place is under new management, and we need this [censored]. If things get heated, shoot everything in sight. Maybe this Mieux will hand her over after we've killed these guards outside."

Jerry grabbed his hunting rifle in his right hand and checked it for ammo. "I'm all good to go, boss. Is there some signal we should use?"

Borgia shrugged. "Them not letting us in would be a sign."

Borgia turned to the intercom beside the gate and pressed the button.

"My name is Borgia Manus. I have business in your tower, and I will not be long. I will not pay for entry, as I plan to stay until my business is done, and take my leave. I suggest you open the gate and leave me to my business undisturbed."

Jack

South-West of The Capital Wasteland.

Part 1. Land of Opportunity

Jack stumbled into the wastes. Perhaps only three miles North of him lay a massive tower, a beacon of hope in a land of death. Maybe if there are still inhabitants there he could be sheltered....What if there's food, and clean water, maybe even beds. Jack reminisced on his three years of wandering. He had survived on irradiated animals, putrid water, and slept on matted furs rolled into blankets. Perhaps fortune would finally smile upon him.

Jack gaped at the tower, he had never seen such a building. He noticed a small rusted intercom to the left of a large iron gate. "Hello? Is anybody there? I saw the lights...I seek refuge. Please help." Static mocked Jack, then a hiss erupted from it, and not long after a gruff voice answered.

"To come in you gotta have the caps, and it seems like your a little short my friend."

"I believe" Jack said, attempting to keep the coldness out of his voice, "That's where you are mistaken, I have quite alot of caps. Seventeen pounds to be exact. That puts me at just about some 4,000."

"Holy [censored]." The guard whispered through the intercom with an air of shock. "Well come in, but you may not bring in any weapons. The fee is fifty caps."

"I cannot accept those terms, I shall bring in my weapons if wanted. I believe three-hundred caps may.....sate your appetite.

The old gate screechily opened up to him. Jack laughed at the guard inwardly. What a fool he thought. I suppose this is a place of business. Very well. Men of business are doomed to an early grave. They avoid fate, and follow the dark avenues of greed and lust. Their sad lives are their own.

Jack turned the knob on the door, lights and smells tickled his senses. The main lobby was surprisingly clean, but a slight coat of grime resisted cleaning, and many shocked and disgusted faces of bigots met his eyes. The guard that must've manned the intercom sat in a chair behind a table set in the middle of the lobby. Jack walked over to him with his arms folded, the guard gazed expectantly at Jack, and Jack lackadaisically reached into his shoulder bag and grabbed just about threee handfuls of caps and threw them onto the table. The guard looked at him shockingly, he definitely had not expected Jack to both look so weathered, and to have a total disregard for currency. Jack just chuckled and looked around, and asked indifferently, "What is the name of this...Establishment?" The guard shook his head and responded.

"Oh. Well, its called Tenpenny tower by some."

"Interesting." Jack said, his gaze piercing into the guard's eyes.

OOC: @Colonel: Well, not to spoil anything, but I don't believe Mark will get in any trouble with Miuex, just to assure you.

Mark

Mark had traveled a far distance from the cabin since morning, and was exhausted. He was sticky with sweat, and his feet had been harmed from walking nonstop. Mark had no water or food, just his saliva and a few bottle caps to munch on- which he thought were quite good- plus some dead grass he had been given the night before, just when was going to sleep, a Regulator lent it to him but didn't even say anything.

Just when Mark thought he would drop and die, a ferocious Deathclaw charged him. He was unaware of the brown, battle-scared, ten foot tall beast galloping towards his direction, until it threw him to the ground. Mark was in progression of getting up, until the Deathclaw came and threw him back to the ground. The creature raised its huge claws and tried to slice open Mark, but he quickly dodged it. He had distracted the demon and he had a chance to run. Unfortunately, that particular Deathclaw was clever and turned his head at Mark. The monster was faster than Mark could ever be, and when caught up to him, the Deathclaw slashed his mighty claw at Mark's leg.

The enormous thing strode towards Mark, who thought his life would end right there. He thought happy thoughts and said to himself that a kind person would come along and see the poor hopeless young man, but there was no one in sight. As soon as the Deathclaw approached him, he thought fast and closed his eyes, pretending to be dead. It seemed to have worked, because Mark heard calm footsteps travel out far over the horizon, so he assumed the coast was clear. Mark should really make better assumptions, because as soon as he had gotten up from the ground full of dirt, the same Deathclaw was hiding behind a large rock, waiting for him. Looked like Deathclaws are really clever. The sight of the beast going in for the final blow frightened him more than staring down the barrel of a magnum. Just thinking of his magnum, Mark remembered the weapon George had gave him. It was only for killing Justin, but Mark had decided he was no one's assassin, and he could not be forced to be. Mark reached into his pocket and aimed down the irons at the filthy, cold-hearted beast that was moving far too quick to shoot. He pulled down the gun and dodged the Deathclaw's violent sweep. He tried again aiming at the demon, but he could move as fast as the svcker. When it steered to a stop, Mark ran towards it, gun in hand and ready to beat the crap out of the creature's victorious face.

It all happened in a matter of seconds. Mark scraqed the edge of the creature's face with the sharp magnum while crouching to avoid its attack, and the beast, now fatally injured, yelped in pain. Mark had made it blind. He felt kind of bad, but the fact that the thing was about to kill him led himself to believe he had done a good job. The gun, loaded with 10 ounces of lead, was shot smack in the center of the face of the Deathclaw. Mark dropped the magnum, proud that he was able to survive the assault, and turned towards a huge broken highway a few yards above his head. And about a mile beyond that, he saw a tall beauty standing magnificently over him. Mark assumed it was a gift for defeating the demon, but Mark's assumptions are most of the time wrong, you'd be wise to remember that.

Henry gazed outside his window as he got static from the other line

"Damn it, JENKINS! GET ME ON WITH ABLE SQUAD!" he barked

"Yes sir!" Jenkins gave Henry a two way radio and got in contact with Able Squad

"Able squad, i want you to massacre the Talon Company." Henry said

"Copy that Gold Eagle, over and out" said the radio man

OOC: LDLAX- The guards won't be bribed, your weapons are placed in a secure armory, and returned when you leave. The guards at the gates are a mix of men and Protectrons, and if anyone is bribed the Protectrons will report it to Mieux.

@Tiberious- Mieux didnt kill him, The Lone Wanderer did, but Mieux took control by having smooth oratory skills, thats why Gustavo is gone, because he knew Gustavo would disagree, so he had him booted out.

Mieux, normally letting his guards handle the entrances, he noticed on a monitor a lady making a shifty grin after being searched, and with haste he reported, "Guards, keep a close eye on that woman who just entered, she may have slipped in a weapon, if she pulls it out, kill her." He got up to drink some coffee, and within an hours time, a group, slavers by their look and dress, made hostile claims at the gate, and despite letting guards handle things, he knew this was something for him to intervene in. With a sense of loftly unconcern his voice echoed on the speaker outside the tower. "Hello Paradise Falls. I'm sorry, but you know I can't allow you in, not with those weapons. However, I'm curious to know, who and why are you after this person?" Mieux waited for them to press the button and reply button and while waiting. He watched two security monitors, one with the slavers at the gate, and the other on the suspicious woman.

Mark

Mark strode towards the tall tower he could see for miles and miles. He knew that here, he could get away from those crazies, the Regulators and live a peaceful life away from the dangers of the wastes. Oh boy, was he wrong. At the front of the steps stood some wanderers begging for food. He turned away to avoid conversation, but one had already seen him.

"HELP US, PLEASE! WE BEG YOU!" one of them yelped. they looked hopeless, just like Mark was the day all of the residents of his vault were freed. But he had no mercy, he just kept walking towards the double doors of the resort. The travelers tried again, yelling louder than the thunder roaring across the sky. Mark didn't say anything, so they did it again. He was so furious, he grabbed one by their torn shirts and gave them a warning.

"You keep talking, you're de-" Mark stopped in his tracks as the wanderer's head blew off. Next, the other two met their fate. It was just a matter of time before Mark did, too. He held up his hands and closed his eyes, but nothing happened. He saw a woman with a large sniper in her hands approach him. She had the sweetest smile and the dreamiest eyes.

"Heh, saved your ass, didn't I kid?" the girl joked and held out her arm, "My name's Nina. Looks like I arrived here at the right time." Nina smiled, and Mark almost melted. He never thought he could fall in love after seeing three men die by the hands of such a beautiful woman.

"Can say that again. My name's Mark." he shook her hand and nearly fainted. The rain, which had bothered him for the last two hours, wasn't even thought about by Mark. He could only think of the girl. Nina released her hand from his, and smiled again.

"Well, you welcome for the rescue, but I gotta go. Bye." Mark nodded but deep inside, his heart sank all the way to the bottom of his pants. He followed Nina's figure all throughout the rain until she was gone. Mark never forgot about her, for he though he would meet her later in life. At least he hoped. After clearing his mind of her and focusing on the real goal, he open the double decker doors of the entrance. There stood two human guards asking Mark for his weapons.

He emptied his pockets and gave them the broken armrest he had pulled from a chair in a bar he encountered after exiting his vault years ago. "Why the hell do you have this in your pocket?" asked the guard on the left. Mark stiffened, for he thought the guards thought he was going to kill some one with it.

"I use it for self defense. It's blunt, it's really not much of a weapon." Mark said, hoping they would let him keep it. The guard raised an eyebrow and whispered to the other guard. They nodded and turned to him. The one on the right cleared his throat.

"You can keep it. Now where's your 50 caps?" the one on the right said. Mark put his weapon in his pocket, and pulled out 50 caps out of the 2000 George had given him. The guard reached out to grab them, and Mark emptied his hand. The guard on the left nodded to him, and he walked through the lobby.

There was a woman in Talon Company armor who looked pissed. Mark didn't want to mess with her.

Lucas "Reaper" Caine - Scarlet Lance H.Q. - Hallway

Leaving his office/bedroom Lucas wandered down the hall only to find his second Colonel Hienrich "The Mangler" Riktor berating one the new recruits. Lucas listened for a minute savoring the rookie's fear before intervening.

"I believe that's enough Colonel.", Lucas called.

The man spun on his heels to face Lucas before returning his attention to the recruit. "Get your sorry ass out of my face maggot, on the double!" the Colonel roared.

The terrified recruit tore down the hallway to escape the terrifying presence of the Colonel. Lucas walked up to the one eyed, silver haired, former Enclave Drill Sergeant with a smile.

"Nicely done, Hienrich.", Lucas said with a grin.

"It's nothing to be proud of an Enclave soldier knows no fear, Commander."

"Well isn't that what I have you for to train the Lance into a formidable fighting force.", Lucas said as he clapped his hand onto the Colonel's power armor.

"I'd better get back to it then." the Colonel said as he walked past Lucas.

Lucas shrugged and made his way outside of the fort only to be disappointed by the inclement weather.

Borgia Manus

Borgia waited for a reply. When a voice finally came from the speaker, it was one he didn't expect.

"Hello Paradise Falls. I'm sorry, but you know I can't allow you in, not with those weapons. However, I'm curious to know, who and why are you after this person?" This must be Mieux. Borgia smiled. He was rather impressed by the logic the man possessed, and he certainly had a tighter grip on the tower that Tenpenny did.

Borgia squeezed the button. "Mr Mieux, is it? I'm not going to bother lying to you, that's not how I handle things, so here it is. There is a women in that building, an escaped slave from Paradise Falls. I have a slave collar on my person with her name on it. If you hand her over, I will leave you be. However, if you refuse I will go back to Falls, obtain a small army, and assault this place until I have Susan Lancaster. I'm sure you've organised your soldiers a bit more than Tenpenny, but the slavers of Paradise Falls are not a force to be reckoned with, you no doubt know this."

Borgia backed from the intercom. "If he refuses start shooting through the gate at anybody in sight, then retreat beyond the cliffs," he whispered into Jerry's ear. He nodded and steadied his hunting rifle.

Mieux couldn't believe his ears, 'FINALLY! An excuse to toss that harlet from my tower!' he thought excitedly. Mieux didn't respond, however he alerted the guards to find Susan Lancaster, and literally throw her out of the gates.

Two guards of the tower, wearing their combat armor with a gilded 'M' on the right briast, came before Susan Lancaster and stopped her from fleeing, "Miss Susan Lancaster, by order of Mr. Mieux, lord over this residency, you are to be removed, your reason for dismissal is rigorous breaking of tower rules and to maintain peace and order here, you are to be handed over to Paradise Falls." A look of horror fell on her face, she finally realized that Mieux may be nice about business, but a shark to maintain order. She struggled and screamed as they carried her by her shoulders. The gates had opened, the slavers not moving, likely suspecting it a trick. Within seconds however, the doors of the hotel burst open, the guards, carrying her with a machine like behavior threw her and her bag of caps out the gates past the slavers. The men, not saying a word, marched back into the tower as the new gates, made of metal blast doors found in the RobCo factory, sealed again. The speaker, came back to life, "Well gentlemen, Susan, and her caps, are at your disposal. Is there anything else I could do for you two?"

Mieux smiled, not because this was establishing a continued peace for the tower, but because he knew that with that uncaring, machinelike efficiency of throwing her out, it cemented him as ruthless to maintain control and order. Likely instilling respect for him from those who witnessed the event.

Marie heard the loud speaker, she bolted to the exit

"Give me my damn guns back!" the guard complied to her, and he gave the guns back

She got out and found Borgia

"Borgia, thank god i found you, we need to get out of here once we get Susan, they might realize the Talon Company is the cause of the raided caravans
----------------------------
Harry got hold of Mieux

"Mr.Mieux? Yes, give him a message. The Talon Company are the ones at fault of the raided shipments, if you see any, shoot them on sight. Did you get that? Good." he hung up and smiled

"Its the beginning of the end for the Talon Company.." he said to himself

Meanwhile, inside Tenpenny Tower... a red-painted protectron stumbled about the main lobby, looking the many new visitors over. It's top light kept blinking as it turned slowly, looking to a woman whom seemed to be impatient about something, and her partner whom was reading a book. The light on the machines head went blue for a second as it observed. Suddenly, something smacked it across the box on its back.

"Ow! Do not abuse me, sir!" the robot buzzed as a tower guard looked it over.

"I think this machine is malfunctioning.... say, aren't you supposed to be guarding something?" the guard asked, the light on the machines head turning yellow again.

"My apologies. I will get right back on that." With those words, the protectron began to walk very slowly to the entrance of the elevator, the guard that hit him walking off and muttering about how broken down the robots were in the place.

Borgia Manus

Borgia awaited a reply, but he did not hear one. After a few minutes of waited Borgia approached the intercom.

"It seems like they're ignoring us, Jerry. Ready yourself," Borgia called back.

"No problem, boss," Jerry replied, cackling.

Just as Borgia was about to press the intercom the door opened. Borgia doubled back and raised his assault rifle at two guards who came from the gate, as did Jerry. The men tossed Susan Lancaster to the ground in front of them and re-entered Tenpenny Tower.

"Well gentlemen, Susan, and her caps, are at your disposal. Is there anything else I could do for you two?" Borgia heard from the intercom. Susan had gotten up and began running, tears running down her horrified face. Jerry began chasing her and Borgia went to answer the question coming from the speaker before him.

"No thanks, Mr Mieux." He paused and looked at Jerry, who had caught Susan and was now beating her over the head with the butt of his rifle. "It was great doing business with you."

Borgia removed the slave collar from his jacket and went to apply it to Susan. "Hold still now, Ms Lancaster," he whispered to the screaming woman laying before him.

Once the slave collar was on, Borgia began walking from Tenpenny Tower, back towards Paradise Falls.

"That went down rather good, I say," Jerry said, cheerfully.

Borgia nodded in agreement. "That, my friend, is how today's organised slaver business should be run, and --"

"Borgia, thank god i found you, we need to get out of here once we get Susan, they might realize the Talon Company is the cause of the raided caravans." Borgia turned to see the Talon Company girl behind him. Oh [censored], this one. What was her name? Mary, Marie? Yes, Marie. Good knows what she wants with me, but I sure could use Talon Company's help soon.

"...Marie. How are you? I've actually already got what I wanted," Borgia told her, pointing towards a sobbing Susan Lancaster, "so I'm on my way back to Falls. I've no idea what you mean by raided caravans, but Mieux and I have come to a civil agreement."

"I will explain it to you later, but we gotta get outa here now, Those caravans belong to a prominent figure in the north. I don't think Fort Bannister is at the least safe, could I stay at Paradise Falls?" she asked

"Jeremy, i need you to go back to Fort Bannister, tell them im going under the radar for a few weeks, maybe months, until this whole things gets cleared up."

[[???]]

"What's this, what's this..." a raspy voice muttered as charcoal colored eyes observed security monitors that showed the inside of Tenpenny Tower, all of them setup to his left. "The man in charge seems to be having a exciting day... let us see what Lucas has to return." The observers eyes went to a massive blank monitor before him. A black-gloved hand slowly reached for one of many keyboards before him, pressing on the 'esc' key.

Footage came up, of the lobby of Tenpenny Tower, colored blue and black. He could see a woman being dragged out.. no... thrown out! The Observer let out a amused chuckle, pressing on the ~ button of his keyboard and bringing up a tiny menu in the corner of the giant monitor before him.

c:/setcommand observer12:...

"Now what was the code to make it patrol.. ahh yes." The Observer gave off another raspy chuckle, typing in a large string of numbers and pressing the Enter key.

[[Tenpenny Tower Lobby]]

"Initiating patrol," the red painted protectron said out loud as the light on it's head went blue again. Many residents looked at it strangely as it began to walk into the middle of the lobby slowly, starting to go from room to room, up the stairs, and repeating. "Please, step aside. Nothing, to see, here."

OOC: The Securitrons in the hotel are the standard steel tone (Just an FYI)

Mieux was reading a pre-war book when he saw on the monitor of the robots terminal. A feminine robot voice said from the wall, "Unit TPT-006 has initiated an unexpected patrol script. Possible rogue AI, please repair this robot." Mieux sighed annoyed, "I have to reprogram these things every other week. This is ridiculous." Mieux got up and went out to the balcony, watching the setting sun, he stared longingly at D.C. on the horizon, not to go there, but to go to D.C. as it was in the many books he found on Pre-War D.C. He decided to sit down on the balcony and drank some wine from his glass at the table, taking in the gentle breeze billowing gently. "Ah, if only the world took time to dabble in enjoying the ambience in the world. But, so many primitives think guns are the only way." He sighed heavily and stood up to look down at the RobCo factory, which it's repaved parking lot was repaved, it had become an open air bazaar, he could see people offering various goods, but couldnt see what, nor did he care.
