The Capital Wasteland: The Revival of America

I'm a bit off right now, but bear with me until I'm less tired. This is the http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii97/Martyr_of_Death/CapitalWastelandRPalphamap.jpg

Legend:

Blue- Settlement

Yellow- Trading Post

Orange- Pre-War Points of Interest to the Capitol of the new government setting up shop in the red marked zone

Building Symbol- The Statesman Hotel, the current headquarters of the new government attempting to revive the Old World.

The name for this system is in the works, but I'm still trying to determine what is to be done with other places like Olney and Paradise Falls. Slavers at PF were decimated by the forces of the American Republic (Place holder name until a better name is found)

Twenty years after the Lone Wanderer intervened in fate and put down the Enclave's plans for the Purifier, now an advlt fully grown, he has built a new world in the image of the old. They fly the old tattered Pre-War American flag and they set up a new radio station within their walls similar to Enclave Radio, offering peace, prosperity and security to all who work with them. GNR is still broadcasting freely, but this station, named 'Republic of America Radio' or RAR for short, is their propaganda mill to entice the American Spirit of the Wasteland. Within their massive walls of concrete, the streets are cleaned as best as can be, the rubble of the Old World used to make the walls. Each major road has a thick metal gate to allow caravans and travelers free passage to and from. They are currently limited to the near heart of DC, but avoid the old White House just south of their walls due to heavy radiation still lingering from the Bombs.

With the aide of Fawkes, he found the rare few smart mutants in DC and managed to convinces a small group of the less intelligent to side with the humans. With their help, they managed to drag the old, radioactive Pre-War rocket out from the road beside the Statesman, this giant hole filled in with old concrete and bricked over to provide smooth roads for caravans to pass through with ease. Though a fledgling nation state, it hopes to reclaim all of DC in the decades to come and return the city to a semblance of Pre-War glory. The other independent settlements in the Wasteland, greatly aided by the ambitious man formerly named 'The Lone Wanderer' by people, he is now President Robert Westford. Through their aid, they have helped vaguely restore roads between Tenpenny, Megaton, the Republic and Rivet City. the city uses jury rigged USAF cargo trucks to haul vast quantities of rubble from the city to places it is needed. Together, with the aid of the other settlements of the Wastes, the reunification of DC is slowly coming to fruition.

So, do we have anyone interested in leading a settlement or faction on the map? (Factions will use independent places, not huge chunks of land. A lot of kinks need to be worked out, but I'm hoping to lure in players to this mixture of politics and RPing.
