The Case Of The Missing Shoe...

Post » Sun Jul 10, 2011 6:21 am

This falls under the "big goofy question" heading, but I have a single issue with my current build - occasionally I will see a character who has no feet. Or at least no shoes.

I've only seen three, in various locations, so it's not the end of the world or anything. But just from a diagnostic mod repair point of view, is there a way to fix this, or identify the element that's missing? Just wondering. Thank you.

Use RefScope, Kuertee's Actor Details or FormID finder to figure out what file is missing and which mod owns it. All linked here: http://tescosi.com/wiki/Oblivion:A_List_of_Troubleshooting_Aides

Screenshots and a Load Order might be helpful. If you are using VORB, some of the lower class shoes/pantlegs do not appear correctly.

There's also some NPCs who are deliberately without shoes, so it may not even be broken.

Not using VORB, and it's not just no shoes, there is no foot.

I'll take a look at Tomlong's link there and see what's up with that.
