The Cave of Munchkins...

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 3:34 am

So I entered the Cave of Munchkins only to find a bear inside.

What is the relevance of this? Where are the munchkins, alive or otherwise?

Cool deadric bow in the chest in the pool but what is the relevance of the name etc?

Any one with a clue on this sheet?

Theres a cave of Munchkins?.....lol

A Munchkin is a pen and paper roleplaying term for someone who maxes out all their combat or power skills in order to have an unfair advantage over the rest of the part. In Skyrim terms, maxing out smithing and enchanting early to deliberately be overpowered. Thats called 'being a Munchkin'

I guess its a dig at players approaching the game with a single minded attempt to just be powerful.. but without a punchline.

Ah, but in the classic 1939 movie with the amazing Judy Garland as Dorothy, the Wizard of Oz, Munchkins are creepy midgets.

Probably just an Easter Egg, referencing Little Lamplight in Fallout 3. Bethesda do that sort of thing all the time.

The term munchkin means what he says because of the collectable card game Munchkin, which is a spoof on dungeons and dragons. (I think...)
