I was going ot PM it to you, but your inbox is full.

This is my IP address:
202.171.168.98

EDIT: Good point about the console. I can get to the console by unistalling 3 media drivers, but I only do that at a last resort, cause i get missing drivers errors until i restart the computer again.

Yeah, your IP address was on the ban list; I have removed it. Slow down the uploading a bit; allow at least a minute between uploads. It's supposed to tell you exactly that instead of giving an unknown error, so I'll find out what's going on with that.

yep, I must have done it twice very quickly, my bad there obviously (until this happened i was updating it after ever hour or so of playing). You might want to add something like that to the readme or so, make sure other people dont double upload too quickly.

Thanks for taking the time to sort all my problems out :) This is such a great tool.

If it does happen again, either let me know or wait 24 hours. The block will automatically clear itself out.

Glad you like it! :goodjob:

I have a problem with my number of spells casts not showing correctly. I casted a lot of spells of all schools (except for illusion), but it only recorded a few restoration casts and my one and only failed cast.

Normally I would post my mod list here, but since you can find that at my characters profile too, here is the link to it: http://www.fliggerty.com/phpBB3/cne/cne_viewchar?id=1069

Heh....sorry if i seem to beputting up alot of bugs.

1. Having the same trouble as other people have said, despite handing over fargoth's ring, you dont get the badge for it.
2. This might tie in with the hand-to-hand issue on detect creature/NPC kills, or might be different altogether. My mage character has been going all over the place collecting ingredients and has kill 10+ in mudcrabs alone (not ot mention the ghosts, rats etc), but he does it with spells and not a weapon. The badge never appears for killing thing, so im assuming that killing with spells isnt picked up.
3. I accidently uploaded another picture for my character's avatar, but now I cant get the old one back. I tried to re-upload the orginal picture again, but it didnt overwrite the avatar again, so the wrong picture is still up. I also see that there are multiple instance of the right avatar (from re-uploading) but no way to delete them...

I suspect that the problem with spell casting not displaying properly (and possibly the problem with some kills not being recorded) is related to a bug with the GetSoundPlaying script function as outlined here: http://sites.google.com/site/johnmoonsugar/Home/morrowind-scripting-tips

Unfortunately there isn't much of a work-around for this in these instances. I'm trying to come up with something.

da mage, where are you seeing the multiple instances of the avatar? Each character can only have one avatar associated with it as the file is stored with a reference to the character's ID in the file name.

Congratulations with this amazing and unique project. I'll be looking into this in more detail very soon and see exactly how it works. I don't play Morrowind ATM, but next time I start a new character I'll consider too join. I'll also try too give my little review in your forums Flig. when I get time :celebration:
Btw Flig. will it be best too ask question in your own forums at GHF if I need help.
EDIT: one of the first thing I noted was the 18 girls :P
EDIT2: Another cool thing is the ability too see where the character is by using the online maps on UESP.
But where do I see which mods the different characters is using. I simply can't find it :(

I only found it when i accidently clicked the avatar after upload.

If you upload (for example) an avatar picture, the next page comes up saying it uploaded and it displays the avatar, if you click the picture, or the words "1 File added" it will load a page that has every avatar and full character picture that you have uploaded. maybe they cleanup after a while i dont know, but i was able to get my old picture back from there which I didnt have saved. I cant find any other way to get to that page....nothing in the gallery or anything.

Heres a screen of the page, you can see the wrong avatar i uploaded for it, the two after when i was trying to make set to the right picture, then the blank one i just used just then to get back to the page.

Also seems the right picture has come back after few hours, must need to clear temp internet files to make it refresh properbly.

You can ask either here or at GHF. I'm watching both places closely right now.

When you are viewing a character's profile, click on the menu button above their picture. One of the options in that menu is to see the character's active mods.

I only found it when i accidently clicked the avatar after upload.

That's odd, it shouldn't do that. I'll take a look at it. Why weren't you a BETA tester? :hehe:

I just want to say that you are AMAZING. It's too bad though that MWSE makes my crash rate jump through the roof, but I'll see if I can load it just to make updates or something.

Also, this forum needs a case inverter for those of us who still have Caps Lock as their "always run" button.

HEH, TRUE. :P

It loosk like a fun idea, I might give it a go.

heh...i only found out about this through Bethblog. Can i keep going with stuff that might be a bit off :hehe:?

For all these, I dont know if its intentional or not, so Im just going to list anything that seems odd to me.

This is just a thanks to the edit feature, not a bug. I saw how you can edit the name/race/birthsign in the character->edit so at least for my characters (and I notice others have done the same) the naming is right for for the birthsign (thank god those arent updated when you upload each time).

When typing the background infomation into the edit, you can put a new line (enter key) into the text box there, but when it saves the newline characters are instead turned into just spaces. It just means you can put anything longer then a few short sentences without getting a wall of text.

Under the character sheet there is a category called 'Enemies', no character's Ive looked at so far have anything there....so what does it list?

Im thinking a way around these creature kills not always being detected, somehow tie the cliffracer (those are counted for the monster kills arent they?) kills as a secondary check in with it (so right now my character has killed 18 cliffracers, so obviously they have killed more then 10 monsters) while this would be far from perfect, it would allow you to still get the badges, even though you'd have to do alot of cliffracer killing.

Is it somehow possible to pull what the player's current equipped spell is? You have the current weapon in there, but not the current spell.....thats just my opinion though, and i dont know if that possible.

With the ability icons that show up, i have all but the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Fortify_Maximum_Magicka show up on my character's page, seems to be the same for everyone. This is true even if the effect is added via an item instead of race/birthsign.

This is just neatness of the page on my part, but if you have or drain/damage on an attribute buy a 3 digit number then the number (eg Strength 60-100) will take up two lines and look a bit confusing. I just noticed this now when testing it, though looking it seems that the +100 values on those high levelled guys does fit

I think thats it for now.

Yeah, I've had Larrius Varro under enemies at one point -- I'd just gone to ask him about the bloodbath. I also had THREE Hlaalu Guards under friends at one point.

Also, the Morag Tong isn't showing up on my Factions list.

Its 4E 40 and the great imperial battle mage, Fliggerty has just finished creating a system to fix keep track of inhabitants of Vvardenfell after many months of solitude in his tower.

Fliggerty: Gather round everyone! I have created a tool to track and progress all the inhabitants of Vvardenfell.

Mage Apprentice: But my lord, the island was desiccated when the ministry of truth fell from the sky. :whisper:

Fliggerty: Give me and minute to make some changes then.

*rips papers in half*

Fliggerty: Done. :hehe:

***

I've been playing morrowind again, thanks to great mods that enhance the game through gameplay and aesthetics. I'm looking forward to adding my name to the census! Thanks for all the hard work, Flig.

I have a suggestion for how the skills are listed on a profile. If it's possible, show them in the Major/Minor/Misc format they're in in-game, instead of that random (or alphabetic >_> ) format that gives us no clue for what their class is.

I totally agree on that, it would be a nice and logical improvement. That way I would be able too see how how others character are made and get some inspiration regarding character build. That would be particular useful for new players.

Ya know, I don't know if this is possible cuz I never was involved in the GHF site, (and it seems I've been missing out) but the pages look awful static for a social environment. It would not have to be anything fancy, but is there not a way to post a comment on someone's page, via a submission box or guest book or something. Seems odd I can look through all these characters but can't say "great pic!" or "Is the this and that mod fun? I been thinking on using it, but I heard it was bugged."

There is a comment box at the bottom of a character's profile. Note that both the staff and a character's creator can delete comments.

Ah ha! Must have missed it. Thanks jac. I swear I looked. And it's good that the staff and creator have control. Wouldn't be right if they didn't.

Just a note, we do have a CnE wish list sticky thread here: http://www.fliggerty.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=2988

Later today I am going to be posting a list there of what is absolutely impossible to do, what I will consider, and what I will add out of what has been suggested already.

In the meantime, I need to point out one thing here. I have been given a lot of praise for this thing. Note that nowhere does the authorship state "Fliggerty." One person in particular has done more than anyone else to make this thing possible. I expect everyone to flood Peachykeen's inbox with thank you notes. :hehe:

I just noticed that you can go to a character screen and look at a character's active mods in the menu drop-down.
And the mods are hyperlinked with an automatic query to ES Search! So delicious! :twirl:

Oh yeah, there's a ton of little features I've added throughout the place. More than I could put in a quick readme. :goodjob: Also, for whoever asked about it, you can see a character's journal from that same drop-down menu if they have uploaded it.
