I used an inspect element tiick I know to get the unobscured picture of the Skyrim main charactor in the current background of the site. I uploaded it it to my photobucket so here it is.

Some things to point out....
1) He is obsorbing a dragon.
2) he is wearing the same armor as the gameplay trailer.
3) In his right hand the dagger... I cannot see a definite hilt but it might just be the angle. also it is a longer blade than most daggers, but maybe it is just a REALLY short shortsword.
4!) he has a short beard. Facial hair confirmed?!?!?!

I actually have this guy as my screen saver. He's available for download on the official TES site.

His name is also Bendy Olo (Well its the most popular name to call him by besides Dovahkiin).

He has blue eyes, blonde hair and likes long walks up snowy Throat Mountain.

His hobbies include: Yelling, Dragon Slaying, Soul Stealing, and Macrame with the sinews and hides of his enemies.

At the end of a long day he enjoys a tall glass of mead from his favorite stone cup, and the latest addition of the Lusty Argonian Maid.

Everything you've stated in the OP 1-4 we've already know for a long time lol. Facial hair was confirmed a long time ago in the GI coverage. Yes, we can dual wield swords, daggers, and other things including spells, we've know this also for a long time.
I don't get what the point of this thread is.

1) Don't think he is absorbing, just looks like swirling fog, the absorbing colors were bright orange and blue and whatnot. And the dragon is still alive, other wise its tail wouldnt be in the air.
2) Of course, probably won't see him in anything different until E3 or maybe even release.

I much prefer the diorama of the past TES covers. But this is a nice one for the spirit of the upcoming game. Hopefully it will change once its out. Then add to the main logo diorama they have.
