Anyone else think so? Can we get a chatbox like in TF2 or something please?

It's fine to me, and the chat isn't really the main focus of Crysis 2 anyway

the chat isent realy the main focus? who could been the chat the foucs of an game?
Chat is for communitcation! And without Chat.. its allways a little bit like there is nothing.. not at all something like teamplay.. when crysis 2 is a good game.. then there will be moments where u need to talk to ur teammates.. just something like in cs.. "GO ALL B".. or like in starcraft.. "stalker/roaches" or like in Quake.. "get quad dmg! quad incomming" but if noone realy realizing the chat.. like it is right now.. there issent any team gaming.. just arcarde, i will get more points then u...

i agree with the first post.. the chat is not at all to see when ur ingame..

You can say that, but nobody uses it, Except for the ocasional, "Oh nice shot man" etc.
or "Hacking Asshole" lol.

If you want to communicate with people fine, but nobody does it really.

No way to re-read chat that has scrolled off the window and it simply doesnt display fast enough or long enough. There are a lot of HUD and menu problems.

maybe ur right and crysis 2 havent anykind of teamplay that give chat sens.. havent played it long enough to get to any real impressions of that. I can just say.. the most game develop tactics and teamplay over time.. when more people can realy handle the game.

but if nobody notice the chat.. nobody will take the time to write something important.

Well, maybe chat could do with some sort of update, but at this moment in time i think you all can agree with me that there are plenty of other issues that could do with the attention of the Developers, which have more importance than chat.. for example.. actualy being able to stay connected to a Multiplayer Match lol.

sure.. but i hope that someone of the crytek support team (i dont see anybody at there own board... ) will do a todo list with the right priorities..
a stable multiplayer is for sure one of the first things to fix.
