Warrior is the way to go on your first character. Not a lot of thinking involved, just jack up your smithing and enchanting, choose your preferred weapons and plow through the game. By the time you get bored with your warrior you should have a really good idea on the type of character you would like to build for you 2nd time around. The reason that I say this is because of the Perk system. You have a limited number of Perks to spend (as far as I can tell) in this game and if you start spending your Perks poorly with a specialzed character it will cripple your character later in the game when you will need every boost you can get out of your skill tree. If you spend some of your perks poorly with a warrior it won't cripple your character .

Warrior/Mage
I love to conjure me up some Storm Atronachs and watch the chaos that follows, and I love slamming enemies with some destruction magic before I finish them off with my sword.

I'm a warrior purist.

I'll probably dabble with other builds once I exhaust my love of warriors.

finishing moves will make exhaustion difficult.
