The Cloak... And WHY it needs fixing...

Cloak to me at least is to easy to see, enhanced visor perk makes it even easier.
I'm assuming you struggle at seeing cloaked opponents so I would suggest doing one of the following:

1. Use proximity alarm to find the cloaked/uncloaked foes in your immediate area. (I use this at Tier 3, I always know when someone is near me)

2. When in doubt armor out, armored foes with armor enhance are tougher (to me at least) to kill when immediately coming out of cloak and spraying.

3. Cloak tracker, this is only useful though if an enemy cloaks near you, it does NOT detect people who cloaked outside the proximity of the ability.

I hope one of these works for you, if you want some help in game just add me

the cloak is well balanced but it does take time before you get used to looking for the tell tale signs, i have experience problems with people being completely invisible, but once you get the hang of it you'll have no problem spotting the bastards, also look for shadows, these'll still be there unless they have upgraded cloak enhance, your "only" level 17, so you've got a ways to go, give it time and you'll see cloaked people everytime.

The game gets easier online when you play it enough that you know what you're doing. I didn't get into the flow until around level 25 but now I'm sitting at a comfortable 2.0 k/d. Knowing which modules to use and leveling them up asap is key.

I spend 90% of every game cloaked. I activate armor a split second before I open fire, then cloak and run from the scene. I can do this about 3 times before needing a recharge, which takes a whopping 1.5 seconds or so.

i honestly love this game.
but cloaking i think they made it the main focus of the game which is way the community is dropping.
notice more people play halo 3 than reach...

its tight dont get me wrong im a hardcoe cod player but also loooooove this game.
but really whats the point of even make maps with open areas.
all the battle is done is corners with kids cloaking. than shoot. go back and cloak. wash n repeat..

its easy to figure how the whole match will be played..
the community would be soo much bigger without it but that will never happen.
if anything i belive turn it down alittle.
make it so you can see people at least..

my opinion..

make it more noticeable outdoors or in light? I hate to say this but maybe they could instroduce something like the blur in Reach or maybe a possibility for the cloak to turn off for a split second while sprinting? It can't be hard to make up something... don't allow weapons with attachments to be cloaked or you can only wield a secondary weapon while cloaked and you can't switch weapons while cloaked?
