What do you think the coastal landscape will be like?

I expect:
- beaches with a lot of heavy rocks
- cliffs covered with grass
- some lakes and rivers flowing into the sea
- glaciers that reach into the sea
- ice packs that swim in the sea

I'm expecting a lot from the coastal areas, in terms of visual beauty AND explorability. I'd like to see real waves and breakers (water physics was confirmed, hopefully that means this sort of thing too), tall cliffs with hidden caverns, sea birds, maybe some kind of lighthouse or coastal fort.

And of course, horkers.

one big problem with that....Skyrim is set in the mountains BUT i would definitely like to see a coastal are, though, because they were soo b-e-a uuutiful in oblivion

I believe the existance of fjords in Skyrim has been confirmed in an interview.

Skyrim has more oceanic coast than Cyrodiil.

I think it will be pretty varied.

I suppose I'm anticipating "mostly Sweden with a touch of Norway".

Given the Northerly locations, I imagine lots of ice, icebergs, huge glacial outcroppings etc

Perhaps the sea itself will be largely frozen, or at least have 'patches' that are solid.
