That's a very good router that DEFRON has posted.
btw, if you want to load an custom firmware take a look here: http://www.pcworld.com/article/260281/how_to_enhance_your_router_with_open_source_firmware.html

Any recommendation on a dedicated music player with at least 64GB space.
Have you ever considered powerline networking devices (something http://www.cnet.com/products/trendnet-500-av2-adapter/)? I have a HTPC media client in a room that is several walls away from the nearest wifi access point, and I eventually gave up on getting decent wifi speeds in that room. Part of this may have to do with living in a high-rise and sharing wifi frequencies with other networks. I ended up getting some powerline adapters, and I get much faster and more consistent bandwidth than I ever could with wifi. They don't work great in some houses with older wiring and multiple junction boxes, but it seems like they work for most people. Just a thought.
Actually, any decent wireless router will do the job just fine for the most of the time, but some people want to tweak around and making the router to have some more configuration options.
So, beyond the stock features that your router using, there are many things that the hardware might be capable of. For some reason the manufacturer has decided not to include them on your router, for a variety of reasons.
For example, keeping things simple, maybe to sell more expensive models to people who need those features.
---------------------
However, you should note, that installing a custom firmware will more likely void your warranty, and if anything goes wrong there is a possibility you might brick your device. !!!
I only saying that, because some friends of my have broken their routers doing that. So proceed at your own risk. !!!
Because of this, i recommend you don't try it, if you only have one router to hand.
--------------------
Your router runs a operating like system software, known as the routers firmware. Your router manufacturer provides you a way to flash a new firmware if you want, which is used to upgrade your routers firmware,
to a new version from the manufacturer.
However, you don’t necessarily have to flash your router with the file provided from your manufacturer. You could just flash a file provided from a third-party. This file could have a customized operating system on it.
But you need to use a firmware that has been specifically designed for your router. !!!! One that supports your hardware device. !!!
So if you feel adventurous, just try it out. But again i wouldn't do that if i had one router in my possession.
-------------------
That would be very helpful. !!!!

I am guessing you have never had any problems with the ASUS RT-N16?
I had in the past a Sony Walkman music player. The sound is top notch, and has many sound configuration options.

But it's not cheap....!!!! (btw. it's an import)
I've heard too many mixed reviews with PowerLine Adapters. The 2.4GHz has enough penetrating power even with this old router (4 bars to the basemant).
I'm almost completely sure that the problem is the antenna or chipset for the 2.4GHz frequency is simply damaged causing the problem. Previously I had faster speeds with it, 15-25mbps (when I had ~36mbps Internet). I don't know if it broke when the Internet speed increased or before. My computer is wired to the Router so I would only realize the problem with my housemates complain.

btw. i have a Thomson TG-585 modem-router. (the router that i got from my provider three years ago. lol)
I want to buy a pc for gaming , and the first games i'm going to buy is off course Skyrim and falout games.
My question is , what are the best components ( like graphic card , memory ) for playing these games whitout any problems, even if the saved data file is a terrabite.
I want to play those games , can do anything i want in those games whitout worrying about anything. I even want to start modding !
So any hints i need before i go order my pc?
I ask it on the forums so u experienced players can give me hints what's best for these games. I dont care about the money but i do care for smooth gameplay at max graphics.
I hope u can help , i really would like to throw my ps3 in the freezer for all the freezing issues it gived me on all my favorite games ( not only bethesda games)
I would suggest posting this in the community tech thread, but since your thread has already been moved once, I'll post this from it instead.
1.) your budget in your country's currency
2.) what country you reside if not listed in your avatar area
3.) pre-assembled PC? ...or can you build your own?
4.) what is needed other than the PC tower? Monitor, speakers, mouse, keyboard, Windows OS disc? All these can jack up the price.
5.) product preferences, preferred seller, and intended aim
Answer these questions, and I'm certain the more tech minded members here will be able to help you.
Both of those games have aged quite a bit. Running them with mods would give newer hardware a run for it's money, though. It's hard to say. There's so many questions to ask from what you're running right now to your budget, to your brand preference.
My advice would be If you're serious about building a computer, ask some of our community experts http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1503793-the-community-tech-thread-no-141/page-3?hl=%2Btech+%2Bthread#entry23704753
1) i update this later
2) Belgium
2) If there is a pre-assembled pc that can handle it , i take that but if neccerary i can make my own.
4) just the pc tower , windows 8 but if another operating system is better for gaming i prefer that
5) have no preferences but it must be from a famous company well-known for it's good products for example NO sony products
I merged your topic to this one as it is more fitting to have your questions answered here. Please get back to us with a budget for further help.
Thanks

KEEPING THE ABOVE IN MIND, i suggest this configuration. (That's not only for Skyrim and Fallout games, but obviously for all other games out there too.)
I thing it will last for a couple of years for sure. And yes - my advise, built it yourself !!!!!
http://oi61.tinypic.com/161zuwz.jpg
This configuration is with overclocking in mind, so if you don't overclock you can choose a cheaper CPU. (For example an i5-4670)
The overall cost will be then 1427 Euros
----------------------
If you want it a bit cheaper, there is this PC configuration
http://www.microcity.be/webshop/ordinateur-5-28-8-60-microcity.html
----------------------
There is a configurator on this site, you can choose the components you want. !!! (but the hardware is a bit limited, for my taste)
http://www.microcity.be/webshop/pcsurmesure.html
----------------------
If that's your first and only PC build, i suggest you to build it to be fast, as no one wants to upgrade every year. It should include quality components as well.
...and should be capable playing tomorrow games too, and not only. !!!
thank u for all this information, im doing research for it , let us say the budget is max 1500 euro and must be a minimum of 1000 euros , it's also important for me i will be able to run fallout 4 in the future so that's why my demands are a little higher. But when i make my choice i post the pc components on this topic and you guys can let me know it's good enough. Most gamepc's i find dont have a good graphic card in it. The pc you posted in your thread look's very interesting and a good price!
At this page (gaming section): http://www.microcity.be/webshop/ordinateurs-5-28-8-microcity-gaming.html
you can see different Gaming PC configurations, from 599 Euros until 3399 Euros (lol)
--------
A very useful PC configurator (actually the best i seen around) is this: http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/
This is very helpful, if you choose to build your PC yourself. It has hundreds of different PC components you could choose from. !!!!
Then you can go to a shop in Belgium, and buy exactly the parts you want. So you can build your Dream PC exactly how you want it to be. !!!
--------
And if you have any questions, just ask. Nothing easier than that. !!!
I'm looking for a new computer or laptop. I need it mainly for internet and using word for personalpurposes but I want it to last for a long time with an added bonus of being able to play games- it doesn't matter to be if I am unable to play the very latest games. I have a few questions about what I should get if anyone has feedback.
-Laptop or PC? (which would last longer?)
-Windows 8 or Windows 7?
-Bugdet around 500 Pounds/632 Euros.
I'm really unsure where I should start. But ideal if the build was upgradable at some point so that it could last longer. I'd like it to be able to run a game like Skyrim but again this isn't the most important part. Any suggestions where I should start?
I already have a mouse and keyboard and I think I have a friend who has a spare monitor so it would just be core PC or Laptop. Though seems that a desktop would be the best option. Will stick with Windows 7 as the OS. Yeah I am from the UK so ideally would be looking for any places here. Mainstream computer retailers seem to be out to rip people off though.
Ideally looking for a pre-built PC that has warranty. I would consider building my own but I am not confident in doing that at all.
After reading all the above, this should be enough for your tasks you mentioned on your post (#95)
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-020-OG
The CPU is more than enough for you, (more or less equal to an Intel i5-3330). 8GB of ram, is more than enough even for gaming, and the Radeon R7 260X is an adequate "gaming" GPU.
(You will be able to play skyrim with this GPU. !!!)
The extra Raijintek Ereboss CPU Cooler will give you a decent cooling performance, and the Super Flower 550W 80+ Gold PSU will be more than enough with this system configuration.
-----------
Tigs offer is much better, if someone will build it for you. !!!
With that in mind here is another system for £527
