Guys I was going to say Secret Cow Level but then I found the REAL details from Fallout New Vegas and I'm really excited!

Welcome to Fallout:New Vegas...America's first choice in nuclear simulation and sequel to the first and only Fallout game Fallout 3. Fallout:New Vegas has tons of features such as

[list]
[*]Swashbuckling Sea Combat! -Fight on the radiated seas against Pirate Ghouls and Lowly Intelligent Mirelurks!
[*]Special Guest celebrity wastelanders!- Get ready to meet all your favorite superstars such as Justin Bieber and the Cast of Glee!

You know, if I so much as hear Justin Bieber of the cast of Glee in NV, I will hunt you down. And him. And burst my eardrums. And sell NV.

bad ideas that won't make it to the game:

1. weather (occasional rain storms, wind, dark clouds...)
2. backpacks for the player character
3. the vegas strip appearing crowded and weather worn instead of it looking smooth and empty (people and buildings)
4. a pump action shotgun
5. bombed out areas that make it feel more post nuclear

what are wrong with those ? They are great ideas, weather is probably not plausable as it is a desert, and number 5 is determined by if new vegas was actually hit, i mean like in the surrounding area by normal bombs or stuff.
Numbers 2 to 4 are awesome though, i hate pulling guns from underneath my clothes, so bags would be cool, vegas should be crowded as a lot of people survived (i think) and a pump action is so my character, im very badass B)

and @ evilweazel your jazz man link didnt work, but i wouldnt mind a bit of jazz acutally :twirl:

Aweapon that morphes the landscape with an earthquake type thingy, makes landslides and topples buildings

Also the ability to make your character have a perk that allows it to fly for bursts of i minute flight and in internal locations, so when a angry bighorn is chasing you you can just fly over it and away for several hundred meters. :foodndrink:

sorry, i was being sarcastic (with a hint of irony) with that list. i think those are great ideas as well but unfortunately probably won't be featured in the game. i guess i was trying to point out little, but obvious details that could really help the game atmosphere...

kind of funny that something as little as a backpack for the player that makes total sense won't make it in the game, but something ridiculous as a rattlesnake-dog creature did make it in. wow. just... wow.

:brokencomputer: My sarcasm detector is on the blink again.

Its a shame that those ideas didnt get in though, i think its possible with mods though, anything is. Its one of the reasons im getting it on PC

Racism. This is supposed to be a universe with a deviated timeline that has a 1950s view of the future. Did racism just drop off the planet? It'd be interesting to see signs that say "Whites Only" and have certain NPCs and factions react differently based on your race. Imagine running through point lookout as a dark skinned character and the tribals talk in their countrified voice, "We don't like your kind 'round here." Of course this will never happen with the PC mindset that is rampant in the world. If they aren't going to add racism at least explain why it doesn't exist.

Becuase racism was never a good thing, and it is very good its gone.

in every town there is brahmin master. when you talk to one you can rent brahmin to fly to any other town you have discoverd.
well... this do not fit well with fast travel, but it is just something random.

and

coward companion who would only run away when encountering enemyes also he/she would reduse your luch to 1
and nobody will never perform any kind of crits near him/her.
geting him/her would bee spezial encounter where he/she would run from raiders. if you kill thouse raiders he/she will become your companion you want it or not

(also he/she would have like 5000hp)

Listen up...

Everyone knows that throwing spears are going to be in this game...

So imagine this: What if you can retrieve a spear from an enemy you just felled with it, and next time you throw that spear at something and it impales them, it has a relatively small, but reasonable, chance to give them a random disease/ailment, such as:

-The previous host was infected by rogue nanites, which were tearing down their immune system. However, once the nanites in the blood were exposed to the poisoned air when the spear was pulled out of the corpse, the newly perceived threat causes them tear away at any bodily structure with such ferocity that it only takes a matter of seconds for the host to become a handful of DNA strands floating in the air

-The blood on the spear has been contaminated with a rare carcinogen from the environment that quickly causes a new cancer that immediately targets only the eyes of the host, reducing the victim's accuracy 95%

-The blood on the spear has caused severe rust and although it will cause open flesh wounds, it will crumble into pieces upon impact. However, these fragments will still do enough damage to penetrate the hosts body in several places and screw up many vital organs

Many more diseases/ailments could be possible, just elaborating here.

Haha. I'd like to see a building, like a fast food restaurant, with the sign "Whites only", and it should be the HQ of a gang consiting only of... blacks!!! xD Because irony is awesome, and that would also be a good way for Obsidian to say f- you to racism AND include it in the game at the same time... of course I meant for the "Whites only"-sign to be a pre-war sign now.

But there's already racism in the game. Most people don't like ghouls or super muties, and they're people too :)

Yep, but that is actually discriminating... :D

I would really like to see guy walking on his hands

That's in the game. What I'd like is character-age-specific dialogue. Anything that adds more/less/different dialogue based on the various aspects of one's character are always sweet and are the kind of thing that ACTUALLY add to replayability and that good RPG feel.
