No.

This.

Fallout is based on the pre-war culture of the 50's in the US. Besides we already fought China in Operation Anchorage :sadvaultboy: and it was my least favorite DLC

The idea of a future fallout being set in another area would be interesting to see such as london or tokyo, but other than that i dont think the courier will be traveling any further than "The big empty".

i admit it would make more sense to place it in america, however, it would be nice to confirm what happened to the other countries like europe, canada, and africa

No, America/Canada (Canada is part of America in the Fallout universe) only. If the courier in particular were to go it would be even worse.

We will be lucky to have a DLC take the Courier outside Nevada but to China or some other county not going to happen. Maybe Mexico because its the closest.

No big things like this should be saved for a full game.

IIRC, only the USA had vaults. So I imagine the rest of the world would have fared much worse with more mutated critters and ghouls (likely feral) and a lot less humans about. After all, a lot of people we see today were descended from vaults (like the Khans and Viper gangs, etc.).

I too would love to see a Fallout in another setting, maybe an area not as hard hit. But the publishers will have to come up with one hell of a backstory to fit it in within the existing universe/canon.

Hell no, we'd be lucky to get an Area 51 DLC that doesn' t svck, a Burning Man DLC that's as epic as the Legion and a Mexico DLC for tequila

No, that should be the focus of all full game not a DLC. I would love to see a game take place in Asia tho.

You will never be able to play as a foreigner in Fallout. Period.
To answer your next question, you will never be able to play as a ghoul either.

No. We will be lucky to have locations in Arizona, Uhah, Southern California or even northern Nevada. Let along a location 3000 miles away.

I would love that like in China cause they had advanced tech too so maybe they had a different way to survive the war.

I saw an interesting idea or even a large game mod in development awhile back on a post at nma.

It's set it an european country Britian I think using their -own- 50s culture of the time.

So yes it's viable. If chances weren't taken on interesting places, timelines, and story we wouldn't have Fallout, wasteland, nor other innovative franchises like Deus Ex.

For the time being most likely no, it'll be set in post-post-apocalyptic America(Including the annexed lands of Canada)
