just because the file was what was indicated as infected does not mean that its how you got the virus some viruses work by replacing code of a file or adding its self to it you more likely got the virus from lack of attention to where you went on the internet not from this website be more careful next time scan all files before opening them and maybe you wont get a virus again

Hmm telling me to be careful? i am.. if the site isnt that good according to scan i wont even click it. and i do move to virus vault any that avg are telling me are bad. that is the only file that has caused my computer problems. nothing was downloaded after that file.

It's clean, you probably got a drive-by-download fake AV program which disabled your PC

Omg how many work mates computers have been affected by the fake virus scans >.< danged computer noobs downloading danged virus programs.

Though AVG does give false positives as ti relies more on heuristics than constant updates, eg more efficiency vs more accuracy.
