Jimri, Cyrodill, next to a cave near Applewatch.

As Robert agreed that he and Nytt should walk in first, Jimri made a small flourish and gesture inviting them forward, as if she was a porter inviting some arrogant nobility into a high class inn. Now that they wer closer her sensitive eyes picked the reflected light of a fire in the cave. Either they're inside, or it's a trap. But there's no fallen snow to hide tracks leaving the cave... Caught with a sudden suspicion she looked up, making sure nobody was hiding up the trees. A tactic quite common in Valenwood, be it from the bosmer, the local predators or some of their preys. Nope, it's clear, they're probably inside...

As she followed to the cave, Jimri reviewed her magic, priming her mind with the first steps of a paralysis spell. Without the full moons they should be in human form, but she didn't know enough about the were creatures to rely upon it. A changed 'were is both though though and violent. I probably don't smell like a good meal, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Nytt - In a Cave Just Outside Applewatch (CJOA?) - Cyrodiil.

Nytt frowned at Jimri and hoped she saw it, "Stay outside until it's clear Jimri." he ordered and headed in, "Alric! Alric? You in there mate?" he called, not scared if it was or wasn't his friend. Nytt had lived for longer than most people and had fought his way through hell and back, he doubted a goblin or even a troll could kill him. But a werewolf? Perhaps. he thought as he bit his tongue in pride. "Alright Robert, if this cave branches off, we'll separate. Squeal like a little girl if you need help?" He joked and turned around so he could wink at his friend.

He turned around and waited for someone to reply with a grunt or a cry, but his mind wasn't on the cave - It was on Jimri. Was this how people in the guild treated him? He always thought they were courteous and respectful. Had the rules really decayed into something the newly born simply snorted at? A shiver ran up his back as he felt a pang of anger - The newborn were always arrogant, thinking they were the best thing since sliced bread but he had never been the object of their angst. This bloody werewolf better have something bloody good to tell me.

OOC: I was never on the ground, so I'll just ignore the last little bit of your post, Ringman ;)

Before Maglir could even register what had happened Isaac had the werewolf on the ground, giving it a vicious kick to the face. Maglir had to blink to make sure he wasn't seeing things, 'Wow, he'd be a fun one to spar with.'

Sirius ran up, complimenting the human on his impressive feat and grabbing the wolf under one arm. Maglir tried to help, but he was not the strongest vampire on a good day, and even with his stamina quickly returning he couldn't even lift one of the wolf's massive arms.

Before Sirius could go more than a couple of steps, the Altmer barkeep Maglir had seen in the tavern came out, asking his leader what was going on. Maglir waited, his arms over his head, trying to catch his breath, as the two elves talked, pondering what Sirius said about the full moon being a whole day away, 'Then I was right, this...' he looked down at the bloody face of the werewolf, 'Thing changed before his time. What could that mean?'

The tall elf began dragging the wolf over to the "cattle area", a bunch of empty cages in a desolate corner of the underground lair, save for one occupied by a trembling Dunmer woman. Maglir and the Altmer followed him, Sirius locking the wolf into one of the cages and quickly healing his wounds, Maglir looking over his shoulder earnestly.

"We need to find out what's going on." The elf said seriously.

Maglir caught himself looking at the Dunmer woman, but turned his eyes back to the old vampire when he caught his tone. His breathing had returned to normal, and his magicka pool was starting to refill, so his voice came calm and steady when he gave his reply, "I agree, I've never heard of any werecreature turning before his time. If every werebeast in this place began transforming, it would be very bad news for the rest of us, not to mention the mortals in Balmora."

Robert grinned. "I'll squeel just the way you like it, Nytt." he quickly replied, with a wink. Werewolf or not, hiding in a cave wasn't the smartest thing you did. Robert didn't know why the werewolves just didn't lock them selves up with chains and the works every full moon. You'd bet your ass that's what I'd do he thought to himself.

"But lets leave these simple trivialities. Lets instead imagine we're entering a cave infested, perhaps, with two werewolves, ready to kill, mame and [censored] whatever comes in their way. Or wait, that was the situation. Silly me, it's so easy to misunderstand..." he mumbled, mostly to himself, as he drew blade. If anyone in there decided to start gnawing on his shoulder, he'd make sure they had a three feet of steel through their chest first.

"Oi you guys, in there! How would you like a wonderful bosmer steak for a late dinner?" he shouted into the cave, and without waiting for answer ventured in.

um.. in case you guys haven't been reading the posts ive ben writing, first of all his name is Aric not Alric, second they are actually outside the cave.. and the fire is kinda out. Meh.. ill try and work around this somehow.

Aric heard voices comming in from the north entrance, and heard Nytt's voice calling out 'Alric'. This made Aric shake his head as he heard the misspelling of his name. "I swear.. Alzheimers seems to affect vampires too at times.." He said to Elliana and turned around to look into the cave behind them. "Well if you are ready to find out what is going on, i suggest that you follow me, i can explain it all once we find these old crones that think they are wise in their long time of living.." The werewolf continued, but it was more of a mutter, his displeasure of meeting up with these vampires was crystal clear in his tone of voice, and the low growl that continued to reverberate from his throat as he walked towards the north entrance, from the outside since it was much faster now that the vampires decided to walk in the wrong way.

i just woke up and havent had my coffee so im in just the same mood as Aric atm :P

[Sorry I missed the part where you went out and assumed you were close enough to the cave's mouth to see outside]

Jimri, Cyrdoill, near Applewatch

As they entered the cave, Jimri's felt the ancient vampire's irritation. And let it slide off her as easily as a duck wold shed a few drops of water. Pfft, I've barely heard of them since I've become become a vampire, but the Dark Blood seems about as infatuated with ranks and dignity as mortal nobility. Screw them all. I've seen quite a lot of the high and mighty, and I've always been surprised by how they expect their lesser to bow and scraqe to what they are, holders of prestigious title and all. When who they are is a bunch of puffed-up toads hiding the rags of how inept they are under the finery of what their grand-grand-dad had done. They should remember that ridicule I the best cure for swollen heads.

Being right behind the pair, Jimri heard Robert's comment, and promptly decided to react. I'm not a steak. How dares he remain pissed about a mere tankard ? I've apologized, and even healed him..... She stepped forward, seemingly stumbing on the cave's rough flor and drowve an elbow straight under his ribs. Immediately apologizing"Ooops, sorry, that ave floor is far rougher than what I'm used to." She was still savoring her revenge when a grumbling came from inside. What words her sensitive hears managed to pick up sounded accepting though not exactly pleased.

Now that they were deeper inside, she saw that the cave was more like a tunnel, the smoldering remains of a fire being on the other side. She stepped a bit forward, greeting the man with a warm smile "Hello. I'm Jimri. It seems there was some confusion about who's who and what back in the tavern and those two acquaintance of yours have brought me along to clear things up with you.". Jimri took a look at the smoldering fire "Would you mind if I restart that fire ? Cold isn't much of a problem, but I prefer warmth."

As Aric returned to the fire just as a Bosmer wearing an attire one would assume would be wearing to bed appeared and started to speak. Aric did not speak at first, as he did not know the girl, yet the stench of death was clearly on her, and after a while the growling stopped. As the Bosmer named 'Jimri' asked to relight the fire, Aric shrugged. "If you wish to tempt harming yourself with fire vampire be my guest.." He said simply as he looked behind him quickly yo make sure that Elliana was still following.

So she was the one tracking.. makes more sense that the other two that is for certain.. he thought to himself as he glanced at the bosmer again. Still i should be careful, i still do not know their intentions.. Vampires are tricky little buggers sometimes.

(Yay this has survived almost a thread ^^ )

Bran looked slightly puzzled at the argonian but relaxed a bit as he spoke calmly. Only the devotees of the nine spoke of evil-doers, although Bran knew quite well the tribunal did too. As Bran looked the armor clad argonian over a bit more carefully in the dark, something clicked in his mind and made him remember how easily that particular argonian took care of the bandits. There was also something else, but it soon escaped his mind.

Bran corrected his posture from his crouched sitting position and sat up straight. 'You're a crusader of the nine, aren't you? I mean...' Bran staggered and looked away. There was still something wrong about the argonian. He couldn't put his finger on it but there was a slight feeling, maybe a smell of something but he wasn't certain.

'Forgive my bluntness. I've never really been outside the Weynon Priory.' Brandon said calmly. 'My name is Brandon Locke. Im a Healer's apprentice of the Weynon Priory. And a scholar of sorts.' He introduced himself rather officially. He bowed slightly and extended his hand while looking the argonian in the eyes, in slight admiration which he hid carefully. The argonian's eyed seemed to gather all the light from around him, like his eyes did sometimes.

Sirius: Morrowind: Balmora underground

Sirius contemplated Maglir for a few moments, he was concerned for the mortals too? It was uncommon amongst vampire kind to care about the wellbeing of mortals, were-creatures were the ones to care about mortals as their lives depended on fitting in to a mortal society. Vampires on the other hand seemed to feel there was nothing to care about if you weren't mortal and Sirius had to admit he couldn't get attached to any mortals, their life spans were too short and he found himself mourning their deaths when he got to know them. It was easier to just watch out for them from a distance and try and keep all contact with them to a minimum.

A sudden snort alerted Sirius to the werewolf waking. It slowly opened its eyes and peered around the room but he was still a little too concussed to do anything else.
"I need a drink," Sirius spoke, putting on hand to his cheek to feel the skin there "I can feel it my skin pulling over my bones and I think people will notice. Maglir, Issac would you please guard the werewolf, make sure he doesn't escape and if he changes back, then question him. I won't be too long"

"Wait wait, you're leaving these two in charge of a werewolf?" The inn owner asked worriedly.
"Yes. Issac just made the wolf unconscious I'm sure he can do it again, and Maglir seems to know some magic to keep it in check."
"But-"
"But nothing Synnda." Sirius said with a hint of exasperation before walking quickly up the narrow street.

----------------------------

Above ground there was definitely the scent of a were-bear in the air, Darcil had been right. The thing that was really puzzling Sirius was why were only some of the were-creatures changing? Why not all of them, actually why any at all?

Sirius stopped and sighed, he looked at the sky and by the placement of the stars and the moon he guessed it to be 3:00 am.
He carried on walking until he found the Lucky Lockup, it was always open late in Balmora, it was the tavern where most of the shifty people went, or the merchants with dodgy goods gathered to make unorthodox deals with others.

Sirius waited in the shadows, letting the darkness hide him from moral eyes. He wanted to wait for the perfect target; he was looking for a female, preferably an elf and she had to be short. Like his first love.
After about half an hour of dark looking figures coming and going Sirius saw her, exactly as he wanted, she was a dunmer, with red eyes and flaming hair, almost the spitting image of the woman he had first fallen in love with the only difference was that her face was a lot pointier and not as heart shaped as he would have liked it. Sirius walked towards her, sliding over the ground not even making a footstep.
Suddenly he stopped, could he do it? Did he really want to look upon someone who reminded him of the painful experience he had ever had to go through? Yet he was not drawn to anyone else, just her and her heartbeat he wanted to close his eyes and lay his hands on her neck just to feel the blood pulsing under her skin, he wanted her to be his more than anything else in the world. All his other problems were completely forgotten all Sirius cared about was this woman.

She was walking away, towards the river, so he followed her, absorbing her scent. It was delicate and strongly influenced by a perfume which Sirius had come to recognise as Telvanni bug musk. It was his favourite perfume for a lady to wear. It smelled smoky and mysterious which just made him all the more fascinated by her.

As they crossed the river she seemed to become aware that she was being followed and she quickened her pace. Sirius slowed a little wanting to watch her for longer, he felt something tugging at his heart, he didn't want to hurt her but her blood would replenish him for more than anyone else's ever could.

As soon as they were back amongst the outskirts of the town, Sirius ran towards her wrapped one arm around her waist and pulled her around the side of a building where no one would see them.
She started to scream in surprise but Sirius put his finger to her lips and she hushed immediately, looking at him with fearful eyes.
"W-w-what are you going to do to me?" she trembled, He could feel her trying to pull away but Sirius just held onto her tighter, he ran one hand over her cheek and she squeaked,
"Your hands are so cold."

Sirius nodded he had no wish to speak; he wanted this moment to last forever. Slowly he bent towards her and kissed her lips. The warmth of them was intoxicating, he wanted more slowly he moved his mouth to her neck and gently pierced her skin with his fangs. He felt hot blood pour into his mouth and he drank it slowly with one arm still wrapped around her waist.

Then something happened which had never happened before, he felt himself and her leave the ground, floating upwards as they were locked in the embrace between a vampire and a mortal. Sirius didn't have time to question it right now he was savouring ever mouthful of her sweet blood. He was aware of her with all his senses, her taste, her touch but her heart was slowing, there was not enough blood left to push around her body. Sirius and the woman fell back to the ground, he lay her down gently and as he looked upon her dead body he felt a pang in his chest, it was like looking at his first love all over again and he could not control the tears of blood which ran from his eyes.

OOC: By the way, Darkom and Ringman, feel free to make the werewolf do things like try and escape or change back :)

Nytt - In the cave near applewatch - Cyrodiil.

Nytt was quite ready to hit Jimri when she joined them and actually attacked Robert. "What the hell is wrong with you woman?" He called out to her as she walked off. "Robert, this woman is very close to getting a sword through the stomach." He added as he gritted his teeth together and followed her in. He saw Alric and a smile crossed his lips. "Aric, you're alive still. Good. Do excuse Jimri - She's one of the lower level members of the guild and has yet to learn respect." He said and looked at her. "I told you to wait outside for a reason. Now do so." he ordered and pointed in the direction he wanted her to go.

"If our tracks are anything for us to go on, it appears you have already saved the other werewolf." He spoke, turning his attention back to Aric, "I assume she's still safe?" He finished and moved closer to the werewolf. Aric had seemed somewhat nervous about the topic he wanted to speak to Nytt about. Not that Aric wanting to talk to Nytt was something which wouldn't normally cause concern - It was quite the opposite, the two rarely engaged in conversation and it was never something important. And thus Nytt needed to hear it in the privacy of those he could trust.

"Well perhaps you should teach your underlings such lessons, as many of your side of the guild don't seem to respect mine one small bit." Aric said as Nytt finally arrived. He never spoke much with the Mystic elf and it showed. He still could not bring himself to trust the man, but he was more trustworthy than the other two standing behind him. The Nytt moved closer and asked the Nord about the breton and he nodded.

"Aye she is well and she should be right behind me" He said and then lowered his voice so only the two of them could hear. "What is your true purpose behind this visit?"

Jimri, Cyrodill, a cave near Applewatch

As the werewolf commented upon the chances she was taking with the fire, Jimri merely shrugged "Do I look dumb or clumsy enough to sit in a fire ? Sure my sort is somewhat more harmed by fire than the living, but we're not tinder either." She proceeded to ad wood and stoked the fire, then sat down, bringing her bar feet close enough to warm and dry them. Which didn't require much attention and left her free to listen to the conversation.

Which took a turn she didn't like. She replied to Aric's comment in a rather dry tone "And what's that 'showing respect' I should learn supposed to mean ? Kowtowing at my better's feet, lapping their toe as a well groomed pet , 'oohing' an 'aaaahing' at their every word. All the while blessing their generosity for letting me partake in the blessed ranks of the undying and being happy with a few scraps and leftovers that are even more than a lowlife like me deserves...". Jimri snickered "In the last twenty years, I've met the guild less than ten times ? most of them being dragged to risk my skin poking my nose into some tightly locked and guarded closet. Sometimes with even less than a pat on the back as reward."

Elliana, outside Applewatch, Cyrodiil

Vampires? Elliana thought, I've dealt with a few of those abominations while in the Legion. Odd that werewolves and vampires have banded together in that guild Aric speaks of. I guess it makes sense for two outcast races to stick together though.

Ellie followed behind Aric until they encountered the first vampire, it was the woman from the inn. Jimri was her name. Elliana looked at her with a small look of disgust.

Elliana though, That's probably why she wanted me to take her out into the forest, so she could drink me dry without letting anyone know!

A chill ran up Elliana's spine as the other two vampires entered, she had seen the other two at the inn also, one was the Breton that had talked with her when she first sat down. Ellie pulled the bear pelt tighter, trying to block out the chill she was feeling. She felt that her sword wasn't on her, nor her other belongings. They were next to Jimri, who had began to warm herself up by the fire. If she needed a weapon she would need to conjure it up, which wasn't much of a problem, but Ellie still preferred the feel of a real weapon.

As Aric conversed with the vampire named Nytt, Elliana decided to stay silent. Observing was safer than running her mouth off like Jimri was doing. She began to catch their scents, all of which were unnatural and bothered her. Trying not to catch a whiff of the blood svckers anymore, Ellie sat down against the cave wall and pushed the bear pelt closer to her nose. A much more natural and pleasing smell came from it.

Nytt bit his lip and turned to Jimri, "Then perhaps you wouldn't mind being expelled from the dark blood guild and excluded from other vampire establishments that I am aware of." He said to Jimri - Obviously angry. "You will not be welcome in any of the Dark Blood Guild hideouts. Good luck spending eternity on your own Jimri." He finished and nodded to Aric.

"Perhaps we should talk about this outside." He pointed towards the way Aric had come in and gestured that he should follow him, "Come on Robert, I have a feeling you may want to hear what Aric has to say."

Aric looked at Nytt then at Robert, then Elliana. "I believe this is more between the two of us Nytt.. but if you insist. Just no remarks.. you really don't want to see what i am like" He said and then turned to the Breton girl.

"Elliana, would you be able to stay here for a moment, there is something i need to discuss with the Mystic Elf for a second. I will make sure that no harm will come upon you while they are here." He said and then looked at Jimiri Well.. i hope they behave themselves.. he added to himself silently. He glanced at the girl again, who seemed to be cold and returned to his belongings, where a much warmer blanket was and picked it up, bringing it over to Elliana.

"This should keep you much warmer than the bear pelt i assure you" He said and smiled slightly, something he had not done for a long time. After giving the girl the blanket he rose and returned to where Nytt was standing.

"Well can we make this quick? unlike you three, myself and Elliana need to sleep at some point being still alive and kicking"

Sondil, over Balmora

The beast glided above the city of Balmora, under the canopy of clouds blocking his silhouette from plain view, the wind rushing into the mouth of the were-bat causing it to dry. It screeched and plummeted towards the ground, following the sweet sticky scent of blood which further enraged its hunger for flesh.

It hit the ground with a stomach jumping crunch of stone as the beasts weight combined with its momentum sent shock waves through the floor, cracking the surface where it landed. It moved forward in the shadow drenched street -- most of the cities population where asleep, save for a few wandering guards and late night drunks. The were-bats senses where overwhelmed, with the scent of blood and the sound of two pounding hearts, one quickly fading while the other grew stronger.

"What in the name of ALMSIVI?" A voice said from behind the hulking winged creature, though the beast did not understand the words -- they where just strange guttural noises to the were-bats sensitive hearing, inexplicably un-evolved and barbaric. It turned, its long jagged teeth grating against each other as the cavernous mouth opened with a low rumble of the animalistic vocal chords. There stood a man, his body covered in a crude bone armour -- save for his head which wore only a simple padded cap, a guard by the looks of it, though that made no difference to the beast.

He drew his sword in a flurry of fear and panic, walking backwards while shakily holding out the blade, light from a near by window illuminated his face. He was crying, tears streaming down a bright young face that must have once shown enthusiasm for his job, his job where he protected and helped the people of his city, where he would stop criminals and earn the respect of his peers, but not where he would face down hellish were-beasts in shadow draqed streets. No, this wasn't what he signed up for.

The bat lunged forward without emotion of the Mer it had been not ten minutes ago, without the logic that powered his mind daily, without the nagging sense of dignity that always played about his mind, just desperation and instinct. Desperation to stop the howling hunger within, and instinct to kill.

But it didn't meet its target, the sound of sizzling flesh broke through its barricaded senses coupled with the scent of burning hair. It staggered backwards scratching at its chest, the young Dunmer guard didn't strike out, he simply held the flat of his blade in front of his face as if to defend himself from the sinewy bulk and muscle of the snarling beast, but the blade was made of something the were-beast couldn't stomach. Silver.

The Dunmer opened his eyes with hopeful curiosity, looking first at the blade shaped burn mark on the bat's chest then down at the blackened flat of his blade, then his eyes lit up and the tears stopped falling. He lunged forward and swung -- bolstered by a confidence he had found within the beasts weakness, though still foolish enough to think he could win.

The bat powered its wings forwards while its legs sprung backwards, jumping feet into the air before coming to a sliding stop on the stone cobbled floor just metres away, snarling and twitching, impatience clawing within its mind. The dunmer ran forwards with his blade trusted outward like the point of a spear -- his voice breaking as he shouted. But like the bat before him, he didn't meet his target. He dropped to the floor, his shout evolved into a scream and then an anxious cry as he held both hands over his ears, trying his best to block out the ear splitting screech of the were-bat.

The noise stopped abruptly as something else distracted the bat, the dunmer looked up to see it craning around, searching through the darkness for something he could not see or hear -- but the bat heard it as if it was a shout beside its head. The fading if a heart beat, the tangy scent of a salt laced tear.

He scrambled backwards, sword in hand and face full of fright, his feet scraping along the floor as the pushed him across the stone against a wall. But the bat didn't turn back to him, with a sudden gushing of wind it was gone, its wings beating and pounding against the still night air, pushing it up into the black abyss of night.

It moved with purpose now, direction and relentless focus. Its shadow skirting over the town unnoticed by the fatigue laden guards who begrudgingly undertook their night shifts, nor by the few staggering drunks who plodded through the street as best as their alcohol influenced legs would allow. Then the bat saw it, its target, its prey.

The woman was dead, her body emptied and dry, for some unknown reason this appealed to the bat. It swooped down, crashing into the body of a man stood beside her as it wrapped its elongated clawed hands around her, turning to snarl at the man, the man with an eye like the moon, who it had collided with. As if to tell him it had claimed his woman as its prey, its first meal. Then it flapped its wings and pushed upwards with muscle chorded legs, landing on the roof above.

Without hesitation, it opened its maw and took the first bite that would be the predecessor of many in the years to come.

OOC: basically, turning to snarl as if to say it had claimed his woman meant "Up yours mate, my kebab."

Well, this certainly went to [censored]sticks... Robert thought, wondering if joining the Dark Blood guild really was a good idea. If members acted like Jimri, he'd be better off on his own. He also noticed the other woman, the werewolf. In the shape of the woman he'd spoken to earlier. How strange.

"Alright, Aric, I have no problem with you guys. My quarrel with werewolves are with those unable to control their urges, and I have the same quarrel with vampires. Anyway, if you don't want me with you while you and Nytt speak, I will stay here." he told the werewolf. As things were now, his loyalties were with Nytt and Aric. Aric seemed to have managed to help the young woman in some way, so there would be no werewolves roaming free anytime soon, exposing them all to humans. Right now, it seemed like Jimri was the problem, especially since Nytt had reprimanded her so harshly. They couldn't step down now.

"Anyway, you better figure something out soon, like you say, you have to sleep. And I'm not too keen on camping in sunlight."

OOC: Ringman, I would rather not have the werewolf escape, but anything else is fair game. If you want to have him turn back I'll leave it up to you. Thanks.

Maglir studied the werewolf, eyeing it for any warning of further violence. After a few moments, he gave a satisfied nod, his long black hair swishing about him, the creature seemed to be more or less harmless now. He returned his gaze to the old elf before him, and caught him looking at Maglir inquisitively. Sirius quickly broke eye contact, turning to the caged beast, who seemed to be awakening. The Bosmer watched it for a moment more, but turned back to Sirius when he began speaking,

"I need a drink," his hand reached up to his face, "I can feel my skin pulling over my bones and I think people will notice. Maglir, Issac would you please guard the werewolf: make sure he doesn't escape and if he changes back, then question him. I won't be too long."

Magir gave a nod, but before he could say anything the Altmer barkeep that had followed them to the cages piped up, his alarmed tone and greater stature already annoying Maglir, "Wait, wait, you're leaving these two in charge of a werewolf?"

Sirius looked at him tiredly, as if he could care less about the elf's worries, "Yes, Issac just made the wolf unconscious, I'm sure he can do it again, and Maglir seems to know some magic to keep it in check."

"But-"

"But nothing Synnda." He said, his tired voice taking on a vicious edge. The elf turned his back to the party, walking back down the street, towards the inn, where the crowd that had gathered seemed to be dispersing.

Maglir felt the top of his head, wishing he still had his top hat, and considering going back into the street to retrieve it before discounting the idea. Sirius wouldn't want him to abandon his post, even if he still wasn't sure about joining the guild. He looked at the human who had defeated the wolf, then towards the whining Altmer, deciding neither of the giants would be very good conversation, though if he had to choose between them he would most certainly prefer the human.

However, they weren't the only options, and before he attended to the caged wolf he decided to have a chat with the caged Dunmer woman. Locking people up made him rather uneasy, especially since this poor girl probably hadn't done anything to deserve the treatment. Besides, now that Sirius was gone he had to do something to pass the time.

He approached her cage, noticing her trembling increasing with every step he took towards her, the poor elf tightening up into a ball, hoping against hope that the vampire wouldn't kill her. His expression softened, mercy mixing with compassion like the petals of a flower, his voice enhanced with a well known spell, both calming and endearing.

"I'm sorry miss, I couldn't help but notice your terrible plight. I simply cannot stand by and allow these people to treat you this way, would you allow me to free you from your prison?" He flashed a sympathetic smile, drawing a rose seed from his pouch, waiting for the right moment to use the symbolic flower. In his experience such a small gift worked wonders, especially with the fairer six.

Jimri, Cyrodill, a cave near Applewatch

As the warmth of the fire started soaking in Jimri relaxed, calming down her anger. With her feet dry, she picked her slippers from the gown's pockets and donned them, stretching and relaxing further. Once sure she had her reactions under control, she decided she had to explain her side of the issue. Maybe he's been in charge and tucked in some comfortably obedient corner of the guild that he can't figure out why I'm not a good little girl and can only explain it with me being inherently naughty...

She spoke in a calm voice "Truth to be told, tonight makes me wonder if I wouldn't be better off on my own - if one can quit without being truly dead first to keep secrecy. Let me sum the night up seen from my side of the fence will you ?

First thing first, I'm resting quietly in my locked room, when you pair show up uninvited, spouting something that sounded like 'hey you girl, come take care of we two outdoors and we'll make it worth your time'. As if I was a streetwalker willing to take any customer no matter what their tastes.

Then you grab me by the ear, for a 'let's go track a werewolf'. Letting slide such minor questions as 'do you have anything to use in that sort of task ? or survive it if things turn sour'. And just to make it even funnier, you ask me to quietly stroll through a reasonably packed inn to go out in the cold and snows wearing nothing but a nightgown and slippers. At best the locals would think me nuts, at worst they'll wonder what I am. Or will then I show up the next day without even a cold. The sort of wonder that could end up in an impromptu torch-and-pitchfork party, or at least more attention on me and you than is healthy.

I do my part and follow the trail and brings you here, only to be half-jokingly offered as werewolf snack. I grant you, my reaction to that last one wasn't the smartest thing I've done in my life. Elbowing a jumpy swordsman seldom brings good not mater how much deserved.

Now tell me, Fang Nytt, do you still wonder why I don't feel much respect ?"

"What the hell, woman? Nytt never asked you to go track a werewolf in your nightgown, that was your own choice. And you are a member of the Dark Blood Guild, thus you can be asked to help another member, especially should he be a superiour. Did you join the guild for the laughs? Did you join to get a free paper hat?" Robert said, rather annoyed at the woman. She seemed like she was used to getting carried around on a pillow.

"And about my part, I am sorry for saying that, but I didn't know what fragile condition you were in. Had I known you'd snap like this, I'd rather just walked in there myself to get eaten myself. Would've saved me from all your nagging. So, snap out of it and start acting like a grown up." he finished. And bloody hell woman, had I known how much trouble you would've been, I'd made sure we took the correct room.

"Now, I've said what I want to say, and I don't care if you've got something to say, Jimri. I'm going to sit over hear and let Nytt and Aric do whatever they're going to do."

With that, Robert headed for the cave wall. Mostly because his mind was much too clouded to think clearly, and he might suddenly say something he'd regret later.

Jimri, Cyrodill, a cave near applewatch

Jimri took a deep breath, focusing her mind "I have the impression both of you missed a good chunck of what I said back in the inn. The clothes I came to Applewatch with were getting cleaned, I was supposed to get them back clean and dry back tomorrow morning. Which means, I had no clothes suited for going outdoors available - you can't pack much into saddlebags. I had a choice between what I'm wearing now, some frilly lace things or just nothing."

She paused once again to sort out her feelings

"No matter what, I don't think any of us is anywhere close to the right mood to sort things out properly. We probably all screwed up one place or another tonight, but we'd better let things and tempers cool down before even thinking about prodding them again."

OOC:

2 things. I'm going to start a new thread in a moment as this one is basically over. And character disagreements are always fun and they make the RP more interesting than if everyone just gets on but Manu, Uglius and Elgen, you all might need to work something out so that this doesn't get ridiculously out of hand. Although I do have to say Jimiri had better have something to offer to the guild in some way because I can't imagine Sirius would let her join if she wasn't useful in some kind of way.

Nytt looked over to Jimri, "Jimri, I never truly cared why you never showed any respect. Now go, I wish nothing more to do with you." He stated and walked out the cave into the night air. Hopefully leaving Jimri in there - He didn't fancy killing her out of pure frustration. He continued to walk away from the cave until he was about 30 meters away and looked around. He didn't know the extent of Jimri's madness and she probably would've tried to listen in the on the conversation: Atleast here he could see if she tried.

Here, in these brief seconds he had before Aric and Robert joined him, he decided to ponder on what the question could be. Could Sirius be in trouble? Has another vampire clan waged war against the Dark Blood guild, what then? Hmm, troubling.

Just a note as a reader not involved in the RP :

Manu's character definitively told Nytt and Robert she did not have anything available to wear for outdors activities. None of your characters noticed that (maybe you missed what Manu typed) and they pressed her to come with them despite the obvious problem for which they offered no solution. Nonetheless she complied (while managing not to attract undue attention), and helped them tracking Aric and the other werewolf successfuly...

And you wonder why Jimri snaps angrily at your characters ?

She offered a verbal olive branch, acknowledging some mistakes and proposing to take a fresh start from a clean slate. Your character should do the same, because honestly I think they made a few blunders themselves.

Jimri IMHO has several things to offer to the guild : she's apparently a skilled infiltrator, acrobat and burglar, with decent if not exceptionnal tracking/hunting skills. Considering the sometime ham-fisted approach some of the other characters are taking to problems, I feel this can definitively be useful.
