The Dark Brotherhood

Yup, it's been confirmed by PU, so let the speculation of DB quests begin! =)

I hope we get an assignment to snipe a guy in a town from like a tower 200 yards away. Now that would be epic. :ahhh:

Dark Brotherhood is awesome and Whodunit? was OBs best quest :) so I do hope they are still in game. I do hope for some dynamic missions though I do think these were confirmed in a GI update. I'm not asking for an AC cause I know the gameplay is totally different but it would be cool to add a few features from that awesome series.

The Dark Brotherhood needs to be more cloak and dagger and less rubber and eyeliner.

Agreed. I want professionals, maybe have some with a bit of dark humor, but definitely not the crazy goth cultists who are always talking about the Night Mother or Sithis in every [NUMMIT] sentence! Sure, we can have one or two who do it for Melphala, but show more of the side that kills people for the money.

As long as we don't have to kill all of our guildmates then I'll be happy. Also I would love for the Armor for the Dark Brotherhood to be different pieces instead of one piece of armor that covers the whole body. Make it have Gloves, Curiuss, Greaves and Boots again like it was in Morrowind.

Hearing the DB will be back has made my day :D

The animations for dagger kills should make for some epic and atmospheric assassinations. Yessss.

Meh, then I hope they add a dark cult in the game because I liked the DB that way. We need some darkness in the game.

I liked the DB in Oblivion, but I'd like to see some people who are a bit more practical about the whole murder business. I mean, someone always wants someone dead, i'd like to see a group that simply sees the oppurtunity for profit and takes it, someone who are not a death cult or a religious group, just a bunch of people who kill people for money, nothing more, nothing less.

They should add both then. Or atleast a fanatic dark cultist group to join! Don't know why people dislike it though.

Yeah, I'd like a dark cult as well. Too bad they're just bringing back the Comedic Brotherhood instead.

I could see the fighter's guild slipping into dirty business pretty quickly.

When hasn't the fighter's guild been crooked?

The DB has already been confirmed for Skyrim. And if I understood the article correctly, some random quests generated by the game will also require you to murder someone, meaning that either regular people here and there will ask you to kill someone for them, or some organized group for hitmen exist. I think the former is the most likely, but you never know.

You mean the regular hitmen style Dark Brotherhood?

As far as being more cult like, i would like to see Mephala to be included.
Perhaps Mephala has the DB divided somehow, especially since there is a civil war.

The Dark Brotherhood is a death cult, that's what they are and that's what they've always been. Let's face it, how much of them did we actually see in Morrowind? Basically nothing, they were guys in dark armor who tried to kill you. The fact is that they are a cult, and most cultists are bath[censored] insane. I never had a problem with that, my character was just the guy who was going along with it all, saying "Yeah, uh-huh...oh yeah Sithis is great, awesome...so, my next contract. What's up with that? Gonna get to that soon?"

you met both in oblivion, and they wernt the same person. (unless the voice was from the night mother lol)

would be cool if they were. Mephala would be better served as sithis though. it be like: o wait... i thought sithis was a dude? NO YOU STUPID TWIT!!!! NO FISHY STICK FOR YOU!!!

Well Dark Brotherhood will return
http://www.pu.nl/feature/Power_Unlimited_2_2011.aspx?id=541
