The days after the Skyrim release...

Post » Tue Sep 27, 2011 6:07 am

I'm interested to know how many people are so engrossed in the games industry to actually take time off of their work to play video games.

I'm researching something like it at the moment, and I'd appreciate some feedback. May seem weird, but that's me ;)

What will you be doing when Skyrim comes out? Will you take time off of work(if applicable)? Are you faking sick off of school? Please give me some idea of how much time you'll be dedicating.

Me? I'll be playing it 245/7 until Halo Anniversary comes out, and when that's done with it's back to Skyrim again.

I won't be taking any days off of school (college) and will probably be limited in my skyrim playtime as finals will be right around the corner. However thanksgiving and Christmas break and any free time i got will be skyrim

Skip any classes that I don't really need to follow and play Skyrim instead. EVERY HOUR COUNTS! Only need 80% attendance anyway.

Really though, I'll make sure I have all my work down at Skyrim release. 11-11-11 is the last possible day for me to have exams on, which makes it great if you think about it. I just gotta have my texts done before release, then I can go nuts for weeks.

Same thing that happenned after Oblivion's release.

Play the game, and alt-tab out to whine on the forums about the small things of course.

I wonder how many 8-balls an average sized human can go through without triggering a heart attack.

Erm, playing Skyrim for the whole week solid, with some time out for the fundamental body needs.

For the first week, Skyrim>Everything :tes:

I've taken 11/11/11 off work, so I'll have a 3 day stretch where I will play approx 9 hours a day. Then I'm back to work, and will play around 3 hours a day for the week. I expect to get in 42 hours in the first 7 days.
