The Dead bodies of Skyrim...

...are they ever removed?

In my current game a Dragon attacked Solitude and killed three guards before the Imperial Soldiers, the remaining guards and I killed it. It's been about a week (in game) since the attack and the three dead guards are still lying in the street. Why haven't they moved? I thought the Nords respected their dead. Has anyone ever noticed dead bodies being removed from where they fall, and not does anyone know a why to get rid them? They're an eyesore on the city's landscape.

And why is the the Dragon's Skeleton next to my house when it died in the market place?

They will be removed at some point. I see only 2 dragon skeletons in Winterhold and i have killed 5+ dragons in there.

The skeletons of dragons I slay at times sometimes get 'reloaded' in their respective cell, meaning they suddenly get spawned and with all the physics hilarity you can expect from the engine. Flapping wings, the entire carcass moving and jittering back and forth.

It happens the same as in Oblivion, but it takes longer. In Skyrim, normal cells get reset after 10 days. Cleared cells (cells in dungeons marked "cleared" on the map) get reset after 30 days. That gets rid of corpses, dropped items, etc.
