The Derpy Bosmer. : V - Skyrim

I think that the most bad ass buff looking Bosmer in the game should have the same voice as the Adoring Fan. That would be some good stuff

I am all for having some "derpy" Bosmer to lighten the game and add some humor, as long as there are serious ones to bring some level of bad-assery to a race that has always been the joke.

I don't plan on making my Bosmer a joke at least.

I don't care much to be honest. I never liked how derpy bosmer looked in previous games, I think Skyrim is a welcome change from that.

I thought all the elves were derpy in Oblivion. All the races looked pretty derpy, to be honest. But the elven voices made it even worse, the way they spoke... Really annoying. I'm glad that things have changed for Skyrim, and the races have had a major overhaul. Bosmer now look like the scary cannibals they should look like.

Seriously, who looks at the Adoring Fan and thinks, "This guy eats other people" or could eat other people?

I'd believe he could eat people... and likely did.

Remember, the reason cannibalism is frowned upon isn't the reason society likes to say it is. The reason cannibalism is frowned upon is of diseases which attack the nervous system being particularly fond of spreading through the consumption of flesh/contamination of bodily fluids.. Who wouldn't, if presented with evidence, believe that The Adoring Fan is actually suffering from the elven version of Mad Cow Disease?

Maybe he's actually The 'Rabid' Fan, eh?

i never played bosmer because they were short :sadvaultboy:
and im not entirely conviced that skyrim people wont ALL look derpy. everyone in oblivion looked EXTRA derpy, but its never bothered me so....

I don't want derpy Bosmer. I want cannibal, Green Pact, crazy killing Bosmer who make everyone else in the room with them uncomfortable (and not in the same way the Adoring Fan did).

I guess all the lore books in the games about Bosmer should just have a little asterisk at the end of each one - *None of this information will ever apply to any Bosmer you will actually meet. All the Bosmer you meet outside of Valenwood are apparently the genetic inbred rejects of Bosmer society according to the way Bethesda uses Bosmer NPCs in the games.
