Do the developers know how weapons function?

I have not seen a full reload in game empty or half. Its time for a Internet journey.

NOPE its the same.

Well, at least you don't have to charge it.

I have to admit, this annoys me slightly too. Another thing that annoys me is when you reload your magazine, and your ammo counter doesn't account for the bullet left in the chamber. But it's been said before, it's just a game, and these things don't matter unless the game prides itself on real-world gun mechanics.

I would find the charging of a weapon very useless in a game that is this fast paced. Sure it would be cool to say "dude look how realistic this is..", but thats about it.

Rainbow Six Vegas is the only game that I have seen add the extra round.

Same with Medal of Honor ('10), at least in the single player, which Splash Damage did. Those little details were part of the reason I loved the game.

Exactly, and I don't understand the balance argument; what about a weapon properly reloading affects game balance?

What most of the folks are saying is that the developers have other things in gameplay to worry about than a canned animation, that only a few people would notice a tactical reload verses a full reload.

I can't remember I think it was either Black or Ghost Recon on the PS2 that if you did a tact reload the next time you reloaded that half used magazine would be in your weapon. No magical ammo consolidation. That was a nice touch..
