3 regular rejuv potions = 1 full rejuv potion. That's the most useful recipe to me, and I hoard all my full rejuvs for the act bosses.

3 of same type gem = next higher gem. That's my 2nd most useful and used recipe.

Most of the others I have to continually look up because I forget them. You can add sockets, reroll rares and some other things I forget because I rarely do them.

Forgot the Rune uppers too. Same thing to about a third of the way then you have to add gems

Also I want them to fix that damned bug that makes all vendors sell all magic stuff on and after Act III

Edit: Because I want my socketed items dammit!

I didn't dismiss your opinion as wrong or irrelevant.

Good. However, if that statement is true, then you should not follow it with this...

[...] Because it boils down to it's not the Horadric cube of Diablo 2. Same with the art complaints. It boils down to it doesn't seem the same as Diablo 2.

That is absolutely not what it boils down to. I promise you that is not the reason I, and many others, dislike the Dialo III artwork. I can make you that promise with 100% surety because I dislike the artwork for other reasons. I *know* it because it is my opinion, I and thousands of others have explained it so many times that it isn't worth repeating anymore. It's people who are happy with the artwork that have come up with the explanation you just gave. Maybe you have never read a person's real reasons for disliking the Diablo III artwork and other things so you aren't aware that you are giving false reasons for their opinions. But rest assured, by and large, that is exactly what you are doing. People have real opinions that you are literally and blatantly dismissing by explaining their thoughts, ignoring their own reasons and substituting ones that make more sense to you. It is extremely elitist and insulting.

You don't have to care about my opinions or the opinions of the thousands of other people who have complained about what they've seen of Diablo III. I honestly would feel no disrespect at all if you ignored all of our opinions completely. They're just opinions and they're bound to differ greatly from person to person, nobody is right or wrong here. It's when you twist my opinion and spit it back at me that it becomes extremely disrespectful.

I hope that makes sense to you because the only reason I've taken the time to write this post is that I have some small hope that after reading it you, and maybe others who share your thoughts, may be a little more aware of how your words affect other people.

Regards,

Bycote

Quick question. I'm at the store and I see diablo 2 battle chest and it's compatible with Mac. I've read online that it doesn't work with snow leopard. Is this true???

I did a quick google search. There does seem to be problems with Snow Leopard and Diablo 2 compatibility. I am not sure about a fix.

Also, I also dont like the graphics of D3. Not a fan of the cartoonish business, I liked how it was in D2. Would like some realistic looking graphics.

Speaking of Runes, I found about 5 of them. 2 of them are the same. I thoguht I read that if they are put in a certian order with certian other runes you get extra benifits. Is the order in wich they go the same or different now? Again, can someone post a link to the order in wich they should go please.

Runewords are made by inserting them to white items. (actually they are gray)

I have another question. It says you have to put them in the exact order. What I do not understand, is, do you start at the top slot or bottom slot and then continue from there? So if you start at the top, then you put the 2nd one in the middle then the last one at the bottome? Or do you start at the bottom then in the middle then the last one at the top?

Do all the Runes have to be put in all at once, or can I put the 1st one in, the 3rd one in, then when I find the 2nd one I can put it in? or I have to put the 1st one in, and if I have the 3rd one, I have to wait till I find the 2nd one and then put in the 3rd one in?

This is what I do not understand about being in the exact order Runes have to be put in.

It's simple. If the runeword is Tal El Eth (Malice I think. Or Shadow) you get a three socket item of the required type then you put in the Tal first then El then Eth. If you go tal Eth El then the runeword is wrong and you wasted three runes

Ah, thankyou. So it dosn't matter what slot I put it in. as long as the Rune goes first when I place them. So for your example, I could put Tal in the middle, El on the bottome and Eth on top then? Correct? I wouldn't do that, I would start at the top and work my way down.

You can't. If you put it in the bottom and the 1st socket is the top then the rune/gem/skull/jewel is placed there.

So the 1st socket is the top then? So I should always start at the top?

No it doesn't matter. They just mean socket the item in the right order. Like he said before, you put tal first and put it wherever on the socketed item, then eth next, and finally el. It will put them in the spots automatically.

I see what you do now. I finally got 3 runes that were needed for a recipie. You just hover the Rune and it goes in automatically. I thought you had to put it in one of the slots too and I see this is not the case.

Oh definitely. Especially since lately she's been dropping mostly Ral and Tal runes. Tal runes rock. On my older characters I'd always go for a three socketed weapon and toss three Tal runes in it for 225 poison damage. I like hitting a monster then walking away, only to have it die 5 seconds later. Doesn't work too well on most bosses.

My current character's a sorceress so she doesn't get to do much melee. I've nearly got her mana regen to the point where I can cast blizzard constantly without it dropping. Got some nice set items that help out too. Too bad they don't all match.

Looks like Diablo III finally got an update. It's not a class though, just about the http://us.blizzard.com/diablo3/world/systems/crafting.xml#top.

Er, the first socketable item, rune/gem/jewel automatically goes in the first slot. You can't make it not go in the first spot, not matter how hard you try. :)

so, to make Shadow or whatever, you just put in a Tal rune, followed by an El, and an Eth.
As long as you put them in that order, you'll make a rune word, in plain white item.

It's foolproof. Don't worry about it.

On Sunday I found the expansion disc I thought I'd lost, and then discovered plugy which has pretty much meant all my gaming time is now spend on Diablo 2. I'm playing hardcoe at the moment and have so far lost 2 barbs on normal. Plugy is pretty much a godsend for me, solely for the shared stash, I only really play single player, I can still do un-twinked or not but at least I have a choice. I'm currently working on a summon necro, to build up some items for a barb, although I tend to get a bit bored with non melee characters, I might go softcoe for a bit until I relearn the game.

The last death was my own fault, last night, it was getting on for time and I started to rush and got myself killed in the spider caves in act 3, allowed myself to get swarmed and that was the end. I had no problems with Duriel. At the moment I can't remember all the ins and outs of uniques and bosses and that's dangerous for melee on hardcoe. I forgot how much I like the game though so I think I will playing it for awhile, although due to time constraints softcoe might be the way to go for now

I'm so proud of myself. The night before the ladder reset I finally get all the high runes I needed and made my Last Wish phaseblade and Fort archon plate.

Is anybody starting up a new character tomorrow?
