I have had nothing but complete trouble for the past few weeks when playing Morrowind. Characters become entirely unplayable in just two days and it doesn't help that I save constantly. I am using the Steam version, but have no idea if it is just the fact that I'm using mods and utilities like Fliggerty's Morrowind Script Extender, his Improved Bartering mod that requires Morrowind Script Extender, one house mod that is pretty simple in every way, a mod that kills every cliffracer but keeps them in the game, Morrowind Code Patch, and Better Bodies. It could be Steam just not wanting me to enjoy an old game. It could be me needing to delete EVERY file that involves Morrowind. I have no idea, which is why I had my dad order the psychical disk of the Game of the Year Edition. I have Windows 7, but it was working fine until I installed some mods.
Now to cut to the chase. Will playing Morrowind from the disk it was released on be it the Game of the Year edition or not Game of the Year edition give me a more stable gaming experience? I have tried using Wyre Mash, and it just tells me there's no problem when I try to repair a save that decides to randomly never let me use it ever again by only going to the loading part of the process. When I try to fix a save and there is a problem, Bloodmoon basically is so busy being the alpha wolf at the top of the load list that it will not let me change the load order of the expansions even if they might be the cause of a problem.
