Fallout DLC worked great the way it did, so I'm more than happy.

No. I'd much rather have storylines and such than 7 houses and Horse Armor.

Wow... Todd already said that they had two separate teams working on Fallout 3 DLC and said this time around everyone is collaborating to make larger DLC's released farther apart from one another.

I hope not I want Expansion packs not crappy DLC that should've been in the original version in the 1st place.

The second part of the poll is kind of superfluous.

But anyway, no, I was happy when I heard it would be like Fallout's. I'd love to see something like Shivering Isles, sure, but almost all of Fallout 3's DLC was done very well and added a lot to the game.

Broken Steel or Horse Armor, The Pitt or Spell Tomes, Point Lookout or the Orrey? you get the point, the only good Oblivion DLC was Shivering Isles and IMO the Fighter's stronghold

I'd rather have one large expansion like the shivering isles or maybe a slightly smaller one like knights of the nine

IMO, I think what Matt mean't was maybe that the DLC would be in different locations, not talking about the size. From the countless Todd interviews, hes sad that the DLC would be more of Shivering Isles style but on the different places like Fallout 3 did.

DLC is the name they give to "Little-Medium Expansions" nowadays...

And the only thing that made the Fighter's Stronghold good was it included an homage to Daggerfall and gave you a firebreathing sword...

Er... The two things that made Fighter's Stronghold any good was the overall homage to daggerfall, firebreathing sword, and cool mini-dungeon to explore.

Sorry... Only the three things that made Fighter's Stronghold any good were the overall homage to Daggerfall, firebreathing sword, cool mini-dungeon to explore, and badass castle to call your own.

Erm... let me leave and try this again.

Why would anybody be disappointed that it's going to be "like Fallout"? FO3 had much bigger DLC, while OB had smaller DLC.
OB had SI, which is comparable to FO3's Point Lookout(both are very large expansions with lots of quests)
OB then had KotN while FO3 had The Pitt(smaller DLCs with only a few new quests and a few new locations and items)
And after that, OB only had very small, unimpressive DLC which could easily be passed up(Horse Armor, Spell Tomes, extra housing)
While FO3 got another decent sized DLC(Mothership Zeta) and an expansion onto the main quest line which added a higher level cap, new/more items, and new side quests.
I don't see how anybody could be upset with the DLC being like FO3.

I voted for more like Oblivion. Horse armor was crap, and I'm not referencing that when I say I want it to be more like oblivion.. but SI was amazing.. also I voted no for am I disappointed.. FO3 had good DLC, and honestly if BGS can do an in between of small FO3 like content and huge content like SI then I'd be happy :)

Well honestly I'll be happy either way.

He most likely meant that it was closer to Fallouts bigger DLCs than compared to the small first ones for Oblivion, the ones before Shivering Isles, like the horse armor they just spoke about right before, if Todd says they're planning on bigger expansion-like DLCs it's prob a safer bet to trust that than trying to make something out of a stressed out lead artist who said something without realizing that some people here will distort it and try to create drama/threads.

I would much prefer full expansions like Shivering Isles for TES IV, and Tribunal and Bloodmoon for TES III

If they DO have DLC, it should be in "packs". Like, instead of JUST a new player house for Mages (like the tower) it should contain ALL forms of new player housing (so Tower, cavern,, etc etc etc). Unless the price is low enough to justify selling them all separately.

I'm not trying to be a Fallout really devoted fan but it's DLC were waaaayy better than oblivion's which imo the only good DLC was SI.
Edit: sometimes the autocensor gives me an lol.

I don't think SI was really DLC. Sure, it could be purchased like most other DLC, but it's content was much more than what you get with most other DLC. Expansion fits SI better I think.

A few moths ago they said they wanted to do fewer but larger DLCs than Fallout.

But if they said "DLC more like Oblivion", some people might think "Shivering Isles" while others think "horse armor", so it's kind of a hard question to answer, especially when he says they haven't decided what they're doing with DLC for sure yet and what they decide on might not be like either Oblivion or Fallout.

I'm pretty sure they said "between fallout and shivering isles" so I'm not worried.

I thought it was comfirmed that the DLC would be more like The Shivering Isles for Oblivion? Where did you get that they are like Fallout 3's?

How was Point Lookout a crappy DLC that should have been in the original game? The DLC is an expansion which takes place in an entirely different land with many quests, new weapons and people to meet. Which is what the devs want to do.
