The Dragon Limit

Post » Thu Sep 22, 2011 2:52 am

I think there will only be two dragons spawned at a time since Todd said that 3 was too much.

I know someone's going to remove the limit and spawn 100 dragons on screen at once. Then make a video out of it. :vaultboy:

That would be pretty funny to see a guy trying to fight and kill 100 dragons. It would be impossible (unless his stats were off the charts).

That Luke is the man.

I think two will be possible, though hectic.

The dragon limit. Discuss. What do you think the right amount should be?

I think the limit should be 11.

So, in order for it to both be graphically okay, and for your character not to be grossly overpowered, they cut down on the number of dragons on screen/ Sounds fair to me.

6 Should make them scarce enough to make finding one a triumph while not making them extremely hard to find but 3 is not bad

What about the dragon limit in total? Do you want dragons to stop spawning after killing a certain number like oblivion gates, or would they just stop spawining after the MQ?

I personally find the more enemies to fight the better *shrug*

Not just his stats, his hardware too. What sort of computer would it take to handle 100 dragons at once?

They should be as rare as cliff racers in Morrowind. I felt they were lacking in that game. :spotted owl:

My answer will be determined by how Beth wants to present these beasts, are they solitary or social creatures? I'd like to be traveling along a mountain side and witness an epic battle between two dragons.... then finish off the weakened victor of course! :gun: Two does seem appropriate though, anymore than that at a time and I'd think it'd give off the feeling that they're far more abundant than I'd like.

"The Dragon Limit" sounds like a cool title for a fantasy book.

@ The Tamriel Terror - the ONE thing that could make me cancel my Skyrim pre-order is finding out that dragons are "as rare as cliffracers were in Morrowind".

I'm a bit concerned about the spawning of dragons. It would became very annoying if they appear almost each time I go outside the cities.
