The Dragonborn comes. Song.

This cover is beautiful, hit me right in the soul
I loved the song, completely, I was sold
Now we need to auto-tune the tune, give it a different lane
A remix with some oomph? Someone holla at T-Pain.

I'd rather listen to nails on ceramic plates while listing to Bieber, and Rebbecca Black doing a duet of her stinkin' "Friday song" Hell, even THAT would be much better than cRAP music!

It's a good rendition though.

It's a beautiful rendition of the song, but the video bothers me because she's obviously lip syncing it. It would have been better to just play the music and show a series of screenshots or video clips from the game instead.

Lip syncing??? If that's lip syncing then she's even more gifted than I originally thought. Watch closely and listen as she inhales. Each is unique, and every one matches what you see and hear exactly. Holy hell, she did that from memory? Wow, just wow. Amazing as she'd be the only human on the planet capable of pulling that off. What she did was layer multiple LIVE takes. It's called overdubbing. The effect that so many seem to think is somehow transforming her mediocre vocals into a thing of beauty is simply reverb. It isn't auto tune and it can't fix lack of talent. Go sing in the shower, hear that? That's reverb.

Not trying to be an azz, but contrary to popular belief, an opinion can actually be wrong, especially if you don't know enough about a subject to even have a valid opinion. OK, I'll stop, I'm being rude, It's just that as a musician myself, I can tell you that your incorrect assessment of her performance is an insult to her.

Someone has already posted a mod so you can have the bard in Solitude sing this (the soundtrack from the YouTube vid, that is).

I listened to that four times in a row- just hauntingly lovely. Period. Gstaff posted it on the ES site last night, I believe.
Don't give a good damn about whatever musical tech she may have employed... it. was. lovely.

I deleted the tail end of the utterly ridiculous back and forth between a couple members. The negative original post did not break any forum rules, the person is entitled to his opinion. However, we are entitled to not then have a dozen ridiculous "Am Not!" "Are too!" posts beyond that.

I used to be in a hurry to always post negative stuff in a postive thread... but then I took an arrow to the knee.

(I think I will go listen to that again before going to play Skyrim. )

Yeah, that's not lip synched. Check out the smile on her face when she pulls off the high notes at the end of the Morrowind Theme. I'm still listening to this. Can't stop.

I usually don't like the sound of female singers, they tend to irritate me. But this women, man... Heavenly, calm, soothing.. I don't think any word does her voice justice.

Is it possible for someone to copy-paste the chords, I know it's possible to get them somewhere, but my computer won't load that page.

Part of what astounds me is that it just happens to be a song about the power of a voice.

Thank you so much for deleting those posts. I started this thread because it brought a positive feeling to me and I wanted to spread the joy. Honeslty I didn't even check as hard as I usually do to see if it had been posted, I figured it couldn't hurt to have a couple of these threads so more people had the chance to hear it.

This girl got famous overnight. I bet she was not expecting to get this much attention. Usually people that are that gifted have no clue how good they really are.
