OP- Thanks for the heads up. That singing was so lovely.

This thread has had 2 Mods and one staff member comment. That is impressive by itself.

Beth, I think you have just found your singer for *cough Blackmarsh cough*

That's amazing stuff right there. If only we could get an "extended" version maybe?

This is pretty fantastic.

Yes it is. What's more fantastic is you are part of a great team that has someone actually writing these songs. Thanks so much for that.

I first heard this last night, was stoked. Now I have it as a favorite. Great cover, great inspiration from Soule's composition and amazing game with tons of inspirational potential for the imagination.

Yeah it is extremely good. :)

BUT there was already a thread about it. :)

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1297748-the-dragonborn-comes-skyrim-bard-song/

Actually there was a thread even before that one... I have listened to her sing for hours. She now owns my soul.

It's good...

but it really isn't fantastic. It isn't even 'that' good. She's pretty much just copied the way the bards sing in Skyrim.

And the Skyrim bards are bad.

She's good, but the similarity to 'Enya' and her very Celtic and very effects-heavy tunes sort of puts me off.

I'm Scandinavian, and I can't really feel the Norse vibe here.

It's not bad at all. It's your opinion though, I just do not get it or agree with it. I think this version is way better than any version I have heard. I think I just appreciate it because I play guitar and sing and I know it's not easy to either of them nevermind doing it together. Nothing bad against you at all I just cannot see how anyone wouldn't love this, but at the same time I understand it's your opinion and I respect that. Hey at least you like it instead of hate it like some people.

Is it possible for someone to copy-paste the chords, I know it's possible to get them somewhere, but my computer won't load that page.

If you go to her website (the address is at the end of the video) you may download it for free and she has the words and chords there as well.

Indeed he has a right to his opinion. As much as I have a right to disagree with him. Welcome to cyberspace.....

This song is amazing, so much better than the original in the game.

If I know how to mod audio, I would do everything within my power to get this to replace the female bards singing this song... :violin:

She should turn down the reverb a bit. Other than that it is a pretty song.

Posts have gone away, let's not insult one another's taste or knowledge in or of music. And while we are at it, if you don't like it fine, say so but do so according to our forum rule on constructive criticism. If you don't know that rule, I suggest you read it prior to posting any. And for the sake of this thread we will assume the fan who made this video is a member so no flaming her....only constructive criticism withing our rules. :)

That song was incredible, but too damn short! Repeat Button Youtube! I want to have it playing in another window whilst I surf the internets.

so um, is there some way to put this song into your in-game playlist and have it play at random moments? Can just imagine climbing a steep snow covered mountain and this kicks in
