This is what I think should happen after the game main story line end in Skyrim
(Sorry for the spelling errors, English is not my first language).
The Dragonborn should have become High King and rule as Ysmir Dragon of the North
Resons why:
- The dragonborn is for the Nords the epitome of perfection as a a warrior and as a men, a symbol of the Old Way
and what all true Nords should aspire to resemble.
- He is for some but most Nords a messenger of the gods, he is the physical manifestation of the will of gods.
(Some believe that dragonborn are sent into the world by the gods, at times of great need). / Tiber Septim Maybe !?!
- When the dovakiin ask about is destiny to Master Arngeir this one said: That is for you to discover. We can show you the way, but not your destination.
( And for me they indeed have show him clearly the way when they shout at him and give him is true name Ysmir Dragon of the North).
This is what the Greybeard Elder's tell him: Long has the Stormcrown languished, with no worthy brow to sit upon.
By our breath we bestow it now to you in the name of Kyne, in the name of Shor, and in the name of Atmora of Old.
You are Ysmir now, the Dragon of the North, hearken to it.
I don't know what the Stormcrown is (we are not in GOT) but I think they can refer to the Ruby Throne because the time of war which resulted in Titus Mede
and is Dynasty seizing the Empire of Cyrodiil was called: The Stormcrown Interregnum.
It can also have a link to Tiber Septim here why: He shouted down the walls of Old Hrol'dan, and his men poured in.
After their victory, the Nords called Hjalti ''Talos'',meaning ''Stormcrown''.
But clearly in the laws of Tamriel the dragonborn have no real claim on the Empire.
He have dragonblood like the Septim but he is no Septim himself and he is not a Mede.
He maybe have some claim on Skyrim. Just has Legate Rikke said to General Tulius: You've been here long enough to know that Nords aren't always sensible. We follow our hearts.
Whit the clues I have assemble I think the dragonborn is the Heir of Tiber Septim not of blood like a son but of Philosophie and traditions. When Tiber Septim became Emperor of Cyrodiil he decided to march on Skyrim and add them to Imperial Occupation, as the dragonborn the Nords owe him their loyalty. So little is know about the conquest of Skyrim that most peoples believe the Nords pledge their allegiance to Talos before is army's even arrive in the province.
If this is True then the Nord should do the same with the current Dragonborn Heir of Talos.
This is the Dovakiin claim of Skyrim and to add to this I am sure the moot will vote for the dragonborn if they have this option in the game. He have the support of the Greybeard on is side not everybody like them but the Nords respect them. If this is not enough to prove why he have a claim on the Throne of the Nords he can just challenge the New High King to a duel in the '' Old Nord Ways'' because as we all know that if you refuse the duel you just give the challenger more right to claim the Throne and your honor is stain.
And to finish this if the moot do choose the dragonborn or he win the duel and is raise to Hight king to strengthen is Claim and Rule he shoud marry Hight King Torygg widow Jarl Elisif of Solitude. Now which side will the dragonborn choose Empire/Stormcloak is up to you but I personally think he will be Independent because the Mede Dynasty will se him as a threat to their authority as the previous Emperor dynasty the Septim where dragonborn.
What do you think ?
