The Drunken Dragon Inn - Thread 5

Post » Sun May 09, 2010 11:43 pm

I hope this isn't spam. The fourth one was getting full so I thought I'd make number five.

Rules are:

- No OOC flaming or arguments,
- No killing anybody else's characters without the owner's permission,
- No going off-topic,
- Try to keep your OOC posts at a bare minimum.

Like thread 4, this is set three days after the Drunken Dragon 4, if that is okay...

Anyway, just get a character, walk on inside and get roleplaying! Anything can happen in the Drunken Dragon, so have fun and expect the unexpected!

------------------------------------------------------------------------

A Breton Mage, Arnand Erelue, walks into the bar. He is wearing a Blue Silk Shirt, Blue Silks (the pants), White Mage's Shoes, and Wrist Irons. Around his neck is a Spelldrinker Amulet, and his fingers boast a Mundane Ring and a Ring of Perfection. Around his waist on one side is a small, blue pouch containing a Strong Potion of Health, a Strong Potion of Sorcery, a Mage's Guild Key, and a Grand Soul Gem. On the other side of Arnand's waist is a sheathed Silver Dagger. Finally, clipped to his back is his personal Mage's Staff of Paralysis.

Arnandre seats himself down at the bar, orders a pint of Cyrodiilic Brandy, and waits for everyone else to arrive.

OOC: Now it's your turn! Enter a character or two, and enjoy the fanfiction!

Edit: We were very lucky to be unlocked, so we all need to behave ourselves. Also, I got a Pm a while ago that Arnandre is femenine name, so Arnand is the new title.

This thread got really spammy. It's OK for an RP to be a bit silly, but that doesn't mean you can post random crap like a bunch of drunken dadaists.

I've removed the rest of the thread, some of the early stuff seemed fine but I'm not going to comb through this trying to decide which posts were legit and which led to problems. Now that we have a fresh start you're welcome to continue this, and to be a bit silly. Just don't over do it. :)

The door to the Inn opens once again and an Argonian enters. The Argonian had blue scales and long fin-like ears and wore a strange set of feather enchanted blue light-armor that had spikes on the shoulders and had what looked like a protective rib-cage. The Argonian also wore a necklace that looked alot like a Xivilai's collor except blue. Indeed, Kenjatsu has entered the Drunken Dragon Inn once more. But the Argonian was different. Kenjatsu's blue scales looked darker, but the face seemed pale and his eyes were no longer blue, but had a sinister red glow to them.
Kenjatsu however did not wear a hood to disguese his appearence. Not knowing any other Blue Argonians in Tamrial he assumed that the guests of the Inn would just dismiss him as just a blue Argonian with Red Eyes..

Kenjatsu then smiled, revieling fangs that were longer then the rest. "Arnand! we meet again!" Kenjatsu said with a laugh.

OOC: It's Arnand now, not Arnandre as Arnandre is a femenine name...

IC:

Arnand smiled as Kenjatsu walked closer, but then it turned into a grin of surprise.

"Kenjatsu! You didn't!"

Before Arnand could contemplate the Argonian's state any further, a Dunmer walked, yelled, then fell unconcious. Feeling pity for the Elf, Arnand used a Movement Mastery to levitate him into a small chair nearby.

Slowly the door creaked open letting in the light from the outside world. Standing at the entrance was a tall, old and bearded Imperial dressed in long blue silken robes and holding a staff in his right hand and a book in the other.
"Sorry to bother you folks but I was wondering if any of you have seen a Daedra recently?" he asked with a soft yet masculine voice as his blue eyes scanned the room for life.

OOC: Oky dokes Perapsam! I edited my post. By the way, you still have Arnandre in your post. "Arnandre seats himself down at the bar, orders a pint of Cyrodiilic Brandy, and waits for everyone else to arrive."

Kenjatsu was about to reply but jumped when he heard a Dunmer shouting then falling down to the ground unconcious. What was that all about? Kenjatsu thought to himself. Then he saw Arnand cast a spell on the Dunmer and was surprised to see that the Dunmer was levitated onto a chair. "Never knew there were those kind of spells!" Kenjatsu said to himself. He then returned his attention to Arnand. Kenjatsu walked over to the table and whispered to Arnand "Dont give me away, please!"

Kenjatsu knew by the surprised look on Arnand's face that Arnand had found out about the state Kenjatsu was in but did not want the others to know. "May i have a seat?" Kenjatsu said, smiling again.

A second figure slipped by the Impeirial in the doorway. He bumped into him, and muttered a gruff, "Excuse me." He padded softly to the bar, and plopped down next to an Argonian with shiny blue scales. he looked at the Bartender and spat out his order. "Mead, and a plate of whatever vegetables you have." His shoulders slackened, revealing his face under the sheen of worries theat had covered him. Heavily built, with a light beard a moustache, his face was smooth other than a slender white scar theat traced from his eye to his chin, down his neck and under his robes. His teeth were unusally straight and white, and a deep frown of worry was set in his mouth. The hair on his head was gray and long, tied back into a pony tail and reached down to the base of his neck. His eyes were gray and sad, deep set in a face of worry. His whole body was covered in a set of dented and scratched iron plates, with leg guards to match. Iron toed boots were on his feet, squeaking whenever he adjusted himself. A wrhammer was strapped on his back, with a shaft of steel and a head of stone. He then turned to the Argonian next to him. "Excuse me, lizard. I have travled for many days and I was wondering if you could tell me the way to Bravil. I am a guad there, and I think I'm lost."

The old man moved out of the way of the warrior looking man, he wasn't in the mood to agitate one looking like him. Even if he could blast him into Oblivion if he wanted to. The old wizard was too busy and had bigger fish to fry in a sense. Noticing that he got no reply to his orginal question he asked again, this time raising his voice much louder "I ask again, has anyone here seen a Daedra recently? I know there is one here so it is pointless in hiding its location...."

Kenjatsu looked over at the wizard and shook his head. "No, i have not seen any Deadra recently. Gates to Oblivion have been openning up though. Look for those, there are plenty of Deadra near those." Kenjatsu said. He then looked back at the guard that sat next to him. "The location of Bravil? Well let's see.." Kenjatsu then took out a map. "The Inn is here." Kenjatsu then pointed to the location of the Drunken Dragon. "Bravil is north-west of the Drunken Dragon, but your best bet is to head west until you find a road. Head south and until there is another turn. Go west and there should be a bridge. Go over the bridge and head North until you reach Bravil. Unless you like running and or swimming just continue to head North West." Kenjatsu then turned his attention to the wizard. "Feel free to go with him. From what i heard there is a Strange Door on a small island near Bravil. Could be Deadra." Kenjatsu said to the Wizard, then turned his attention to the Guard and smiled. "Good luck finding Bravil. And do not let my appearence alarm you. I am just a blue scaled Argonian."

"Aye. So you are," the guard muttered with a laugh. "But I won't be leaving so soon. Thank you for the directions."He addressed the Wizard. "And I have seen a Daedra recently. Looked like a big fella' so I didn't mess with him." He sat back on his wooden stool. He leaned a whispered into the Argonians ear, "You wouldn't have happened to have a run in with a Elf named, Marrow, would ye'?", he silently asked.

"Marrow!" Kenjatsu growled as he heard the name. "He's dead. He was after me for some reason, why i dont know. He was also a Necromancer." Kenjatsu said. He was still pondering why Marrow was after him. "Why are you looking for him? Wanted criminal?" Kenjatsu asked the Guard. At the same time, Kenjatsu is surprised that the Guard wasn't looking for him after all the things he's done.

"Ha ha ha ha ha! Dead? You think you killed him? No, this one doesn't die." The bartender set his order down on the table. "I been after him for years, and I've even caught him with my hammer a few times. I've seen his skull crushed in, but no, he doesn't die." Swiging his mead, he added, "And you Kenjatsu, have been chased after just as long." With that he grabbed the Argonians collar, and stated, "You are under arrest for murder, attempted murder, and how many other sins you've commited."

Let my guard down.. Kenjatsu thought to himself, frowning. "I cant even have a bite to eat or a bottle to drink?" Kenjatsu said with a sad face but with a sarcastic tone to his voice. "If your arresting me because of trying to kill Marrow, well i wasn't exactly the one that did it but that is highly unlikely. And second, why would you think i would give in and go with you so i can get locked up?" Kenjatsu said, rising an eyebrow. Kenjatsu then reached for his sword, ready to defend himself. "I do not feel like fighting, but i will not go with you."

"Bah! You kill Marrow? I think not Kenjatsu. But as for murders, well, you have plenty under your belt." He unsheathed his hammer. "Look. I've followed you for long enough to know what you've been up to. Drink your ale, eat your meat. I won't take you away. But know this. The Leigion knows you Kenjatsu. You are no longer hidden." He rose from his chair, stepping towward Kenjatsu as if to intimidate him.

"Thank you for your reply but I'm not looking for any ordinary Daedra, the one I seek is in a sense, special" he replyed with a grin "If you don't mind I think I will stop here for a while and rest". The old wizard slowly moved towards and empty table opposite the one with the two men and ordered a drink from the bartender. He placed his staff on the far end of the table and rested his book in front of him and flicked forward a few pages before settling upon the one he wanted.

Kenjatsu's mouth twitched slightly at the sight of the Guard stepping towards him. The Argonian would have laughed in the Guards face but decided against it. He didn't want to make matters worse. "If your trying to intimidate me, think again. I've seen worse, being a murderer and all." Kenjatsu said. He then remembered what Arnand had said to him the last time. know one step would be to go to a chapel and pray for forgiveness from the sins you commited. That's the problem though. Some sins just aren't forgiven. Kenjatsu thought to himself as he rememberd Arnand's words.

The door crashes open as a large Nord stumbles into the inn, the Nord wore a dark vest and tan pants with steel boots. The Nord was in his later years yet a certain aura of power seemed to radiate about him, attatched to his back was a great Dwarven claymore that gleamed wickedly in the candle light. "Excuse me gentlemen but where can I get a pint of mead around here?" Said the Nord surveying the lobby with his icy blue eyes. The Nord locks eyes with the old wizard and ambles over to him. "Mind if I sit with you old chap?" Said the Nord as he eases himself to a seat by the wizard, "By the way my name is Edmund Silver-Star" Edmund introduced himself with a warm smile.

"Looking for mead, eh? Well, you found the right place." Kenjatsu said, shrugging. He sat down onto a nearby chair and told the Inn Keeper. "Bottle of Ale, please!"

The Inn Keeper went over, got Kenjatsu's bottle of Ale and placed it onto the table infront of the Argonian..

Kenjatsu could tell by the look of the Inn Keepers face that he wasn't exactly happy having a murderer inside his Inn, but shook the thought off. Kenjatsu went to take a sip of his Ale, but the Ale tasted unusual. He put the bottle up to his mouth and spat the drink back in. Must have something to do with my state. Kenjatsu thought to himself, bitterly. He remembered how the Vampire Khajiit wasn't exactly fond of the drinks. I wonder if she will return? Kenjatsu thought to himself. Kenjatsu then looked back at the Guard and grinned revieling his sharp fangs. "By the way, im not exactly sure what the fine here is, but im guessing it's bad if there is a fine for it. Mind you i might be a murderer but my mind isn't that sick. Someone from Skingrad had asked me what the fine here is for Necrophilia." Kenjatsu said to the Guard, snickering as he remembered the Dunmer Woman asking him that question.

OOC: Yeah, Kenjatsu was bored ^_^

"What pervert asked you that? I would kill em', but the fine is 500 gold," he said as he sat down. "But I would mind your tounge. Thats a gross and underlying practice." He swigged his mead and scooped up some asparagus. "And I'm sorry about the rough start we had, but I had to remind you you can't get away with everything."

Suddenly, the inn door flew open, and in walks a young Imperial man, dressed in a fine green and blue shirt, with matching pants, and some leather boots. On his belt there was a sword that was broken in half near the hilt, and a single arrow in his quiver, but no bow.

"Good day gentlemen! I am Forgon the Bard, and I need a drink to wetten my tounge!"

Suddenly a loud smash rocked the upstairs of the old inn and a disgruntled looking Firenze materialised on the top floor, a circle of scorch marks surroundingg him. He teleported in at a speed, he was moving when he cast the spell, and flew face first into a door leading to a room.
"Ugh! Lousy mage!" He yelled, rubbing his stubble filled chin. He was a shadow of his former self, he had been so much younger looking and happy when he entered the inn several days ago, but now he had bags under his glowing yellow eyes and a cut, fresh, from what looked like a large claw.

Walking down the stairs, he told the barman his order.
"One bottle of Cyrodiilic Brady please." Firenze said as he sat down next to an Imperial and an Argonian in a heated dicussion. Then he recognised the lizard.
"Kenjatsu! How are you, and Imperial we've never met, how are you, I am Firenze." He said, offering his hand to shake...

Edmund glances over at the peculiar bard and tries to supress a smile, Forgon reminded a lot of himself when he was in his younger years yet something about the young imperial that eluded the old Nord. "Welcome Forgon, why don't you sit here by the warm fire and I shall pay for your drink." Edmund told the young imperial while browsing through his pack for some gold coins.

Forgon heard the Nord and was delighted. "Why thank you, sir" Forgon said as he walked over to the fire. He then looked at the number of people in the inn. "My, my, what a crowd." Forgon said as he puled out his broken sword and started examing it. He then muttered to himself, under his breath "Snapped right in half."

Edmund glances at the broken sword and chuckles, "How did you break a fine sword like that. over a trolls head?" Edmund asked as he payed for the young Bards mead, "So tell me how did you come by such bad luck in the wilds of Tamriel?" questioned Edmund as he takes his claymore from his back and starts polishing the already gleaming blade.
