[RELz] The Dungeons of Ivellon

I am playing this mod through for the first time, and keep hitting a CTD just after I enter the 'lower dungeons' level. It has occurred twice, and always at the same place (the second left turn after exiting the stairwell, and getting the quest popup). Has anyone else experienced this?

I am using version 1.8 of this mod.

I am using version 1.8 of this mod.

I 'ghosted' past the spot where the CTD was occurring (using the TCL console command). From that point on, it was clear sailing. That was a very enjoyable mod, L@zarus. I even set a Midas AStral Mark at Mara's Alter for use later (for an item I found).

When you fight the last guy that staff on the top of all the ruins, is there any way to get it? Cause I didn't have time while fighting to go get it and was wondering if you can even get it or not

Yes you can certainly get it, you?ll have to jump allot, potion of jump toad which you probably found somewhere in Ivellon certainly helps here....

Yes, along the way in Ivellon you'll find a potion of jump toad(Spelling?)

I always intall this mod but haven't played it yet;
for me the number one of all mods/quests I have played to date is ... "Thievery in The Imperial City" (it's a bit of pity the author haven't finished his work); recently I have played two episodes another mod "Gates of A..." but was disapointed (kind of mods you don't mind play it again after playing it the first time).
I have hear a lot of this one and I will see what goes with it.

Played this mod quest, solved the puzzles
found the tower, made it until catacombes level (third level)
found 2 sort of varla stones
found 70% parts of the dead guy.
...
stopped playing the quest because I figured what was the end.

All in all I give this mod a personal rating of 07/10.

I think this is a "puzzle quest" rather than a dungeon mod.

I have skull, abdomen, right hand, arms and torso - but do anyone know where the rest of bones are? I've looked everywhere like a paranoid, but cannot find any of missing remains.
I would be very thankful :).

You need to get the 3 crystals first. PLace them on the pedastals, and explore. WHen the mage starts laughing (At YOU, btw), search the room he was last in.

the old manuscript from the great grandaughter's basemant, blank

and the tombestone in cheydinal, yep blank

what's going on here?????

Well, just played through Ivellon for the second time last night and I have to say this is a very nice piece of work. I was actually scared and a little freaked out from the various surprises and sounds, even though I had already played it through about a year ago. Big thanks go to the makers, and I wish you guys would make another one ;)

...and to everyone who has not played this and wants a scary mod with intelligent puzzles to solve, try Ivellon. Highly recommended!!

Not having some things spawn until player approaches an area is brilliant. Makes the mod much more spontaneous and adds that bit of adrenaline. The sounds took me back to one of my favorite games, although all the times I heard the very familiar "braaainnnss..." sound bite on level 2 had me expecting Diablo II zombies that never materialized. :D The creatures so far are quite creative and creepy, in particular the

I've entered the tower, and gotten to the initiation hall...but quite honestly, I'm stuck!

Maybe I'm misinterpreting some of the walkthrough, but I have no clue what to do from here. The ghost character won't speak to me, and I picked up the entirely-black axe as well.

Please help...even a hint would be helpful!

So you're in the barracks? Just explore the area if you haven't done this yet. There souldn't be something like a ghost character or a black axe, btw... has everything been installed correctly?

I thought I did...I've done the quest progression the way it was (hopefully) intended to be laid out. I followed the directions to get to the tower, which I was able to enter. I installed the 1.5 originally and then the 1.8 update...I'm not running any major mods other than weather and DarnifiedUI. No FCOM or OOO or anything.

If it helps, the second time I came back, the ghost, who had previously been suited in armor, was now simply wearing a helmet...which lead me to believe maybe something was wrong, lol.

How can I fix this? What is the correct way of installing this? Should it be first/last in the load order?

I enter the tower, there are two wings; there's bookcases in one wing, and barrels in the other. Two doors that lead to the entrance to the "Initiation Hall."

The black axe was on a pedestal there, and the ghost, who's name I can't recall other than that it started with a "J", was walking around passively. Is this at all normal?

Ehm... there shouldn't be one single NPC or creature within the whole mod whose name begins with 'J'. Also, I don't remember an axe on a pedestal. Maybe you could make a screenshot of your location?

Arudius: You are in the WRONG location. That Black Axe with the Ghost has nothing to do with Ivellon, and MUCH to do with Myths and Legends.

The Cloud Tower is high in the Mountains SE of Cheydinhal, roughly around the L in Valus on the World Map.

I've finished playing the mod now. Very exciting, particularly I like the puzzle element to the final battle (although wow, that teleportation thing was annoying).

Since I was playing a spellcaster, I really appreciated the reward options.
