[WIPz] The Dwemer Observatory

This looks great so far. It could just be the screenshots, but the Museum and Workshop look like they could use more lighting.

It looks very nice indeed! My character may just have to move house when this comes out.

I'm running my mod with TLM loaded, so everything is darker than it would be in a normal game.

I've put this project on hold for a bit to actually play the game for a couple weeks, but I'll get back on it soon. :)

Edit: Oh yes, I did get the orerry working recently though. It now rotates when you pull a lever, and stops when you pull the lever again. I also replaced all the items in the museum with activators, that will be enabled each in turn as more stuff is donated to the museum. I have to figure out the logistics of the actual donations though. I don't think I want to do it as a series of rather linear quests, even though that would be easiest. That would be rather boring.

I also made replica dwemer mugs, goblets, pitchers and bowls for the tavern, which will also be for sale from the Hlaalu merchant.

The npcs are all made now. I have a basic outline for each of them, but have yet to start on their scripting and dialogue.

Uuuuhhh...not so soon anymore. I kind of put this on the back burner for a while. I'm not sure when I'm going to get back to it.

After UL is finally released in the next couple weeks I have to decide what I want to do. Actually, I think I might want to take a break for a month or so while I work stuff like this out on paper. I'm debating starting this up again, or working on Guarzashi, which is an Ashlander political mod that takes place after the main quest. The Ashlanders need a really good quest mod. :)

The name of the tavern isn't set in stone yet. I'm always welcome to more suggestions. :)

As an aside, just how "player built" is this observatory? I noted in the screenshots that you are using stock Dwemer set pieces for the interior itself. Unless the player is building this observatory in an existing stronghold, wouldn't it look a bit different from a standard Dwemer stronghold? Perhaps more like a mine or a tomb?

Just something to think about. I actually love the concept.
