Commander Adams will give you the quest to hunt down the traitor we discussed in previous thread.
The reason the soldiers are actually there is that they are hunting down the traitor. When you complete the quest, they will move away.

Alright, just something I want to throw out here.
I really want to feel like I'm the good guy whilst playing this mod, even though I've played the MQ.
If you can make this mod make you feel like you're doing the right thing and the BoS are the evil ones, you'll have accomplished something amazing.

Since the BoS doesn't know about the Enclave being real, initially they are not hostile. Oucasts will not be hostile in any moment since they are enough ignorant not to care.

That's exactly my goal.
When the BoS are taking over the Purifier, the message will be clear: They want the power themselves. They don't care about James, they don't care about the Capital Wasteland, all they want is to fill their pockets with caps and ammo.


There was this Finnish thing when everytime someone asks to someone to for example finish a picture, but types accidentally "finnish", he'll get the same picture back but with Finnish flag in the background.

George Lincoln? Long-lost cousin of Abraham Washington? Maybe a quest to steal Abraham's relics?

Maybe on Megaton's 'Power of the Atom' quest, you could get the Enclave to extract the bomb and keep it? And then you could use later on in the game?

G. Washington + A. Lincoln = Abraham Washington
G. Washington + A. Lincoln = George Lincoln

Yeah, he'll ask you to retrieve some pre-war goody like decl. of ind. and other stuff in exchange for ammo.

Sounds like a good mod, once I get FO3 for PC, and when your mod comes out, I'll download it.

This seems like a cool idea but I would rather be able to still play the Lone Wanderer.

IE this mod be a mod that expands the existing questlines but to make being evil actually a viable option instead of being ramrodded into being a good person like you are currently.

Its gotten even worse with Broken Steel. Ramrodded into being a good Karma Character.

For Example join the Enclave when Eden/Autumn offers and tell the BoS to get stuffed, capture liberty prime for Edenbot and transfer him into it to really scare the BoS, or maybe get him an android body so he can move about and "really" be "President".

I'm currently making sidequests, though, since I lack good ideas for the MQ. Now I'm in the spot where you got the information on where your Dad crashed, and now I'm wondering where would be step 2 and 3 before you encounter him at step 4. Something related to having to pay a visit to the Underworld, since I want the Enclave character to judge the Ghouls him/herself.

Ghouls scavanged the wreckage. Hunt them back to Underworld. Kill or Help to get info on what they found.

BoS found wreckage and captured Dad to interogate him. They take him to GNR/Washington Monument outpost. Patrol gets attacked by super mutants, dad escapes in the chaos. He ends up in underworld. He heard about Project Purity from BoS and needs to return to Raven Rock and inform Eden.

Just an idea.

FYI, there is a connotation to "George Lincoln" you most likely are not aware of and could be a potential problem........

It could fit, as the Enclave presents itself as a democratic government but is really a fascist one, and so comparisons could be made between the Enclave and Nazi Germany.
I'm delving into politics though, so I'll leave it at that, I think the name could stay, most people wouldn't catch the reference i think and if someone does it could fit from a certain point of view.

I really don't think the purpose of this mod is to make the Enclave look like the Nazis Party.

Well, no pun was intended to combine the scientist with the nazi. He's named that way so people recognize his upcoming role: The Enclave's Abraham Washington.

That is why I brought it up....it looked like something that could potentially give people the wrong idea about your project.
