Good explanation for the Pip-boy

They're so horribly written and full of silly expressions and instant plot twists.
One idea would be that while the BoS draws off the Enclave forces by attacking the uplink with LP, a BoS strike team, led by the LW and the Pride, overruns Adams AFB and takes the crawler and you are sent to infiltrate the base and execute a strike against the Pentagon before the BoS can figure out how to use the orbital weapons platform to wipe out RR.
I gotta get BS and play it through a few times but something like this.
When you nuke Pentagon (or not!), an Enclave Vertibird will approach with a high-ranking officer (depends on how you did the job at Purifier) and they take you to the spoils. And if you failed.. Well, you'll be thrown from Enclave faction and you'll be hostile with every major faction in the game (BoS, Mutants, Enclave and so on).
I think I gotta do something for in case the player betrays the Enclave at the purifier. Maybe he will lead his own small squad of Enclave outcasts that agree with him.
I'm thinking of giving the player two Enclave followers too: one man and one woman.
Plus, early on in the game you won't have built up a reputation yet, so to the BoS you'd just be another stupid wastelander, and not "that Enclave punk"
To note, the Outcasts and BoS are hostile with Enclave faction.
This means that I gotta add the player to both Outcast and BoS factions, and when the time comes remove from the latter.
