West Tek Floor 2

Traven, Jenna, and the Deathclaw entered the security room. Ancient skeletons lay on the floor, pre-war weapons laying near their skeletal hands. It appeared as though there was a fire fight in the room, as examination of the corpses by Traven(med check) revealed them to have been killed by gun shot wounds.

A few locked weapons lockers were along the back wall. Jenna set to work on them and successfully picked the locks. Inside were more of the 12.7 mm assault rifles like the one Jenna received from Jed. One was heavily modified with a silencer and medium range scope, with a variable night vision setting. Jenna scooped up the rifle. "Very nice," she said, and slung it over her shoulder. In the other locker were various suits of West Tek security armor. Jenna inspected the armor and noticied it to be extremely durable and of improved design over combat armor MK II(repair check).

"Very quality gear," Jenna said, "This company definitely knew their stuff when it came to weapons and armor. Should take these suits with us, may come in useful, at the very least for research."

Traven examined the computer on the security office desk. It took some time, but he eventually cracked it. The data lists two employees who had been disciplined for company espionage. A log portrays how advanced security team was transferred assignment to the new St. Paul facility. The final log is listed after the Great War, detailing unrest among those in the facility, panic, and what would appear to be a armed riot among the survivors. Inside one of the drawers is a security pass for levels 3 and 4.

CEO office

Gm Note: CEO Christian Johnston III was married to his job, so the family photo I put on his secretary desk.

Entering the CEO office, Alice, Burns, and White see the top of the line luxury of pre-war time period. A large desk sits near the back wall, a secretary desk in the small office before the CEO office contained family mementos. A portrait of the CEO is behind the desk on the wall. The portrait shows a man holding a laser pistol in one hand, a plasma pistol in the other, and the silhouettes of power armor behind him, with a pre-war flag waving in the background. White moves over to the painting and removes it, revealing a wall safe.

Alice sets to cracking the CEO computer, and a few minutes later, she is successful, and it was very difficult, she thinks to herself.

There are some interesting emails from a Dr. VonFelden, the CEO of Winchester, a Colonel Richard Spindel, a Major Barnett, and a Robert Mayflower.

Gm Note: none of you have lockpicking, so you need Zach, Vargas, or Jenna to crack the safe.
William Traven

The sight of the security room unnerved Traven, for a reason he couldn't quite put his finger on. The sight of skeletons of pre-war individuals was nothing new of course, but there was something...different in this case. Traven got the distinct impression from the room that things had gone very wrong, and not just due to the damage caused by the war. The skeletons were lying sprawled across the floor with weapons beside them, as if they had been in combat.

As he walked up to the nearest skeleton, Traven's suspicions were confirmed by a quick examination of the damage to the skeletal structure.

Consistent with gunshot wounds, Traven thought, they had a fire exchange with someone...or something.

Hoping to glean more information about what had happened here, Traven walked over to the security desk which was situated to the side of the room and sat behind the security terminal. After a few minutes, he was able to hack into it and began reading through the files.

"Security team transfer to St. Paul facility, " Traven read quietly to himself, "interesting."

As he opened the next piece of data, some sort of log began to be displayed across the screen. Apparently, it had been written in the aftermath of the Great War and detailed an account of what had occurred in the facility during this time. It looked as if the security team had attempted to keep order amongst the employees but soon something of a riot had broken out. The reason why the riot occured however, was not clearly stated.

"That would explain the dead security team," Traven said as he glanced over at the skeletons on the floor.

As he finished reading through the terminal, Traven began opening the drawers of the desk in an attempt to find anything of interest. When he opened the top right drawer of the desk, he saw two security passes similar to the one he had bought from the individual in Rest Stop. After picking them up, he looked them over a bit before sliding the passes into his belt pouch. He then stood up and walked over to Jenna, who was looking through the lockers. The one she was looking in now had a few suits of what Traven suspected was West-Tek Security Armor, which by his own eyes certainly looked advanced.

"Very quality gear," Jenna said, "This company definitely knew there stuff when it came to weapons and armor. Should take these suits with us, may come in useful, at the very least for research."

"Agreed Paladin, these suits would appear to be quite the valuable find. I imagine we'll find a need for them soon," Traven said as he began examining one of them.
