The economy of arrows/lockpicks etc..

Ive already posted my thoughts on lockpicking but though i would voice my thought in tihs thread as it effects another concern of mine as well. At present you can easily find enough arrows/lockpicks on the bodies of those you kill which mean that you never ever have to consider running out of these items.

Without the concern of this alot of enjoyment is lost in the game no moments of deciding if you should use the last of your arrows or lockpicks because chances are you have another 30+ in your bag.

This also means that perks dealing with lockpicking and to a lesser degree archery loose their status due to the ready amount available in Skyrim.

Please could people feed back and let their thoughts known using this poll (hopefuly done right) and try to bring this to the attnetion of Bethesda and i'll be able to find out if its
just me!

Personally i think that only because someone gets killed all their stuff shouldnt instanlty be available (inc all items armour/potions etc..) maybe only a 40% chance each item

Low tier arrows are plentiful like iron/steel but high tier arrows are a pain in the ass to get. I'm level 42 with 100 archery and 55 hours of gameplay and I have less than 100 ebony/deadric/elven arrows combined while I have like 600 steel arrows and 900 iron arrows.

I would at least like to have the option arrows were supposed to be limited but doesn't seem like they were much at all. Maybe by ten percent. I'd like arrows to be limited by half but lockpicks I'd rather have the normal amount.


Edit: limit amount of iron and steel arrows. The others are fine.

I think you should be able to Smith arrows and lock picks imo. Make that the only way (or at least make mobs drop picks ALOT less) to get them

Agree about the perks - with current abundance of arrows/lockpicks they are useless :[

Really? So than you'd be willing to have say swords more limited too right? They're freaking ARROWS, archers tend to need them in abundance.

Arrows being a rarity was a joke, unless he meant the top tier arrows, which was also a joke because at level 48 every mob is throwing glass and ebony arrows at me like it's going out of fashion so if I WAS a pure archer I'd be laughing. Not fussed though tbh, PLENTY of more important things the patch needs to fix.

^^ This ^^ I'm level 43 and only have 120 Glass, 75 Ebony, and 8 Dadric arrows and I bought most of the Glass and Ebony arrows. Maybe a reduction of Iron would be nice, I just don't even pick them up anymore.

Lockpicking and pickpocketing should be merged. Then add like athleticism or something like that, which affects movement speed etc.

Yeah, it svcks to have 100 Archery, Legendary Deadric Bow with dual enchants, +Archery gear, and then iron/steel arrows lol.

Lockpicks should be reduced in number? No absolutely not. Unless you give me back my darn open lock spell.

Simple solution to this problem, and IT IS a problem. Add fletching as a new crafting skill, would tie in nicley with smithing and wood cutting.
