» Fri Nov 16, 2012 10:23 am As many of you may have noticed we've had something of a glut of new writers and old posting Fan Fictions. A lot of these fall prey to what I call 'silent readers', people who read their work, appreciate it and then just click away without saying anything. To combat this and hopefully encourage writers to continue their efforts I suggest we start the cleverly named Editors Guild.
The aim of the guild is to provide honest feedback on the various Fan Fictions and other similar works. Criticism should fall within the forum rule, namely;
The only criticism that is allowed here is constructive criticism and that is welcome.
Constructive criticism criticizes a proposed idea, story or RP. Criticism that is directed against one person, be it a writer, another member, moderator, developer or a group effort are all forbidden. This means that when you voice your concerns, please do so in a way that offers a vehicle for improvement. If you see something going wrong, feel free to say so, but also say something about how to set it right.

The Editors Guild is here to provide help and improvements but also reassurance that someone is reading and that your work hasn't gone unnoticed. Personally I think it would be best if Guild members to attempt to read one or two Fan-Fics a week and leave feedback on them but anyone is welcome to join and help out.
If you're a writer who's written a fan-fic or anything else really and feel like it's gone unnoticed post it here or if you prefer PM one of our Editors requesting a read.
Editors, if you get PMed with a request and feel unable to fulfill it or are in someway please PM another Editor and inform the writer who asked you in the first place.
