UESP says it is "Novak'leen"

Yeah, the UESP probably knows best, but the sad thing is I don't care about the story. I want to know about the factions, setting details, exploration, and general lore. My mental image of an Elder Scrolls involves free-roaming and stuff not connected to the main story. I hope Bethesda remembered that side quest stuff. They probably did, but I am a little worried because it's my most anticipated game ever and I just want it to be all that I wish for it to be.

Well folks, the dargons will now make an appearance (other than Redguard). This will be interesting, especially since TES:V is in Skyrim.

Cue "cliche" and "lore-breaking" complaints (not from me).

That dragon's breath looks so cool. Its, like, organic. So much cooler, or should I say hotter (Ouch! Sorry!) than plain fire.

I think the lore is good, the Elder Scrolls have never really explained why there hasn't been dragons involved in them. Dragon Born, now i'm really curios.

Is the Elder Scrolls website down from so much traffic, or are they updating it?

When do you guys think they'll show us some screen shots or gameplay?

When the hooded people walked onto the foggy stage and the music started playing, I immediately started thinking of every other game it could be. Then I noticed the snowy mountains in the background and still tried to tell myself not to get my hopes up. I was so afraid they would go "Everybody please welcome, *some other random developer*".

But no, it was Todd Howard. [censored] yeah.

I saw the Imperial symbol at the end. Skyrim is still a part of the empire after the Infernal City, right?

This may be a dumb question, missed the announcement, but was it said about if it'll release on console and PC at the same time? I'd love to go PC but honestly at this point my PC won't be up to par. I do Oblivion on PC, but TESV is probably going to have to be Xbox for me.

I missed the actual VGA announcement - did Todd say anything interesting, or was the bulk of it in the trailer?

Well, I'm certainly excited. Wish we had more to go on though, you'd think with 11 months to go there would be at least a little bit of gameplay footage in the trailer. Hopefully we'll see some touched up screenshots with no HUD when the site reopens at least :3

Or maybe gamesas will leave us waiting until E3 to find out more..

Youtube doesn't seem to have it yet, but don't worry I'm sure it will be there eventually.

Yeah I know I can't believe it. I still believe that they got their information confused when they said it would be on a brand new (meaning non-gamebryo) engine, but I guess we'll have to wait to see what Beth says to know for sure.

Am I alone in wishing TESV were set on the border between Valenwood and Elsweyr, and involved dealing with the politics/tensions between the Khajiit, Bosmer and Imga? It's depressing to think that I'll never see a sentient ape dressed like a 18th century Victorian gentleman holding its cape to its nose under the pretense that my player character stinks.

I gave no credibility to that rumour. Strange.

They're probably adding the new template and all the new features. I know a little bit about website design, so I imagine that since Bethesda is a big company, they're going to make the website as fancy as possible. It's going to take a while before the whole thing is updated.

Most likely. The dude in the trailer (who was he? I think I recognize the voice...) definitely said dragonborn, not dragon lord.
