Okay, so I just had the craziest idea for an RP. The basic pemise would be that everything we know and love about the Elder Scrolls series would be futurized. The races would still be the same, for the most part, but instead of provinces they would have seperate planets. Swords would be replaced with lightsaber-like weapons, bows would be replaced with blasters, ships/carriages would be replaced with spaceships, etc. Does anybody else think that would be awesome? Just imagine an Argonian with a jet pack, acting like Boba Fett! It could be really awesome, I think, if enough people joined up.

So is anyone else interested in doing this? I know it's kind of crazy, but I think it'd also be pretty sweet.

Hmm... sounds like a cool take on TES, and different from my idea of The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Command&Conquer: Tiberian Sun, and BattlTanx crossover Post-Apocalyptic RP-or-fanfic (Haven't decided which one).

We could do a TES: Star Wars (Like TES Bioshock and some of those others).

Oh yes. I read about every book on Sith. I liked "Path of destruction" and "Dynasty of evil" from the Bane trilogy.

Actually, I once had an idea for a "Stargate in Tamriel" RP: Any Stargate team SG-2 through whatever prepare to go scout a "blind" stargate Jump that leads to Tamriel. Before they can send the unmanned probe through first (to determine if there is a safe "other side" - a khajiit comes through, steals something important from SGC, and the team has to go through to Tamriel to retrieve it.

I'm glad to see so much Interest in this! But I wasn't thinking of doing TES with just Star Wars. More like adding the best parts from all the best sci-fi films, shows, or games.

We could steal "The Bending of Auraxis" plot device (And given justification through impenetrable TESLORE-babble.) to justify how the Tamriel gets torn into seperate planetoids instead of being different provinces of one continent... which is even more extreme than what happened to Auraxis - merely seperate continents being flung into their own little planetoids.

Did I ever mention I like Planetside?

eh, that just seems implausible. and without the lack of resources from the other nations, no race would be able to develop technology needed to attain space flight.
