The Elderscrolls combat, and Chivalry Medieval Warfare

Post » Thu Feb 21, 2013 4:08 am

I just got Chivalry Medieval Warfare on steam a few days back, and every time I play I'm wishing that Skyrims combat was more like it.
Parrying, ducking, overhand slashes, thrusts, regular slashes, kicking, etc. I never knew first person melee could be so fun before I played this game.

So I was wondering do you guys think it would be a good idea for TES:VI to adopt this combat system? I think it would be great, it would make TES more skill based, and not so reliant on spamming/gear stacking.

For those unfamiliar with Chivalry Medieval Warfare here's an example. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2it-yFWeS0

I don't disagree, but what about archery do you feel needs improvement?
