[RELz] The Enclave Commander mod v 0.75, Thread III

Post » Sat Apr 02, 2011 3:52 am

Would you think the Enclave would be above selling captured people to the slavers at Paradise Falls? Might be another option...
I love the mod, by the way. :)

This alternate start sounds interesting too. I assume it would make Raven Rock open, friendly and discontinue the MQ (while keeping the Enclave roadblocks/vertibird drops)?

The slavers are also mutants (anyone not enclave or born in a vault is, actually) so the enclave would enslave the slavers, and/or kill them... not go into business with them.

[*]Transport captive back to base in exchange for either cash or more soldiers (brainwashing ftw!)

that actually sounds really cool! instead of always having infinite soldiers it would be almost more fun to have to actually enslave an brainwash your own in order to build up your army

is it implemented or will it be implemented for the AI soldiers to take point? i don't always like to lead especially when im carrying a sniper rifle. Like set a waypoint on pipboy, and they will head there while attacking anything that attacks them or me.

I thought the Waypoints in the 0.7 version did that?

but you can't do it via pipboy. I'm not talking about taking down the next 3 streets, i'm talking about making a path from one end of the map to the other end with me just tagging along and watching the carnage.

I'm not sure if we'll be able to do this until FOSE adds ui features. A feature like this would require a new portion to the map menu, and some fancy scripting.

You can place out multiple flags and then tell them move to red, blue, yellow.... Adding the feature to the pipboy is probably impossible. - Care to try it? :)

I forget if it has been implemented or not. Are there any risks to using the radio yet? Such as an enemy vertibird comes in instead of a friendly, or a chance that a vertibird does a mini-nuke attack on the area instead of dropping your supply crate?

If there was a risk based on either faction status, type of radio (different qualities), or radio frequency strength, that could lead to incorrect or intercepted transmissions?

Nix. It's 99% risk free.

Any idea if the Deathclaw addon will be making a return? As far as i know it doesn't work with 0.7 yet

A personal deathclaw army would be nice, considering they can easily kill 2 - 3 BoS alone

J3X, I got a few lil problems with the enclave reinforcements when they get separated from the player and have to find an alternate route back to the player. This has been happening since 1.5 and it's not a big issue, unless you bring them indoors with a lot of stacked stuff, then they tend to knock things over.

What is happening is when they have to find an alternate route their guns get switched upside down and they look as if they are ready to fight with their fists. These screen shots should explain a little better:

Also I was in MegaDump (as I call it) with three enclave recruits and accidently called in a squad and after it landed I cancelled the request. So when I leave with the 3 enclave recruits that were following me before I called in the accident they didn't come through the main gate. What I then did is went to Springville hopping they would show up out of the blue, but they didn't so I ran back inside MegaDump and there they are, went back outside and they still didn't follow, ran back inside and there they are again, so I just shot them with the marker and sent them back.

This is all very very impressive, but are there any in-game reasons you're in charge of the enclave? They did kill your dad afterall.

That's why the version number is below 1.

Once this gets integrated into 'http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=926081' mod, it will make sense.

Deathclaw addon will not work for v 0.7.

I hope the creator will upgrade it to v 0.7. :)

You can change them to BOS or outcast if you think that enclave is evil.

I have the same issue, and I don't have that, so I don't think there's a conflict.

I can't remember, but I think telling them to wait (so they put it away) fixes it.

I have a question about one of the places you can travel to. Lima Base? Is there supposed to be something there? Or is it just on the list for no reason?

Nib/J3X, THECOUNTER, Linkesauge, and LucidDose are working on an Enclave Faction mod, which includes a base you can call home.

Well I know that, just don't get why it's called "Lima base". Are the Enclave really giant lima beans?

Lima is the military term for the letter "L" (the reason for this is because, in the heat of battle, a lot of letters sound the same, like "b, c, d, e" so they use codewords so the message is clear.)
