The Enclave dillema

They still believe in spirits and "other" things. It doesn't matter how much tech you have at your disposal, if you are not using it rationally (religion...) you are still primitive. He proved that on the rig.
And I never knew how much time did the "Chosen One" have to blow the rig. It seemshighly unlikey that he had 20-30 minutes it took me to pass the rig.

Right. Because our society now has technology and absolutely no religious people. Because religious people destroy society. Seriously?

Put even a modicum of rational thought into your posts before completing them, and you'll be stunned at how much better they'll read.

Helsinki is the capital of Finland.....thier foreign policy was dictated to them by the Kremlin until the USSR collapsed, no way the Enclave would have set up anything important there.

no thats not true either, Finland havent heed the words of Russia since before 1917.

and if anything after 1941 and the winter war they became even more enemies of all things russian.

He should have tried.

And Dracth:

Religion does not destroy society. But I believe that it should not impede progress. I is just not natural to see such a gap between religious tribals and not completely religious normal people in FO2. It is also quite comical to hear confused tribals muttering about the "holy" GECK and "the Vault in the sky"

In those cases though, over generations, they have readapted and miss interpeted their own history to their current lives, it happens all the time in the modern world now, so why is it hard to see it happen in a world where eveyrone becomes isolated? Just think of that "telephone" game where you start with one rumour/saying and by the time you pass it to about 30 people, the last person has heard a different thing all together. As for their religion standing in the way of progress, it happens, it has happened and will happen until there is none altogether, its human nature, you have to understand that first and foremost. The fact he let his beliefs rule him is litterally normal for all humans, your own beliefs have shown that you personally, had you been in his place would act completely differently, thats why humans are so fun, we arnt all robots.
