Once Adeth and Paulus had arrived, Iris pushed herself off the pillar and was about to make way for the stairs out of the temple, when Do'Rhadi appeared. She turned, looked at him curiously, and then seemed to have a revelation of thought. "Right, Do'Rhadi... I'd been wondering where you'd gone. Hopefully you won't have to use any of that technique." Iris responded, slumping her shoulders. She looked at what she had to work with.
Myself. Adeth, an incompetent fighter and thief. Paulus, a warrior forester, stealthy as a bear likely. Do'Rhadi, who might be a competent fighter and sneak, but likely just fighter. And Viuven, who's likely to be an excellent sneak. Well... a bit large for a spying party, actually. But that can be put to our benefit...
"Captain Steffan told us we have a Runestone between here and Bruma, and that is where they have been seen frequently. We are to consider them armed and dangerous, and there is two of them; maybe more. We are going to try to prevent a fight, but if it comes down to it, make it quick and decisive; that armor is tough, and it has few kinks. Adeth has gotten us some rope; we'll be trying to incapacitate and capture them with it." Iris motioned to Adeth as she mentioned the rope.
"Once we have the runestone area secure, we have to interrogate them, and then visit Bruma. We knows how many spies they may have stationed there. When we are in Bruma we'll divide and conquer, so to speak, cover as much ground as we can. Depending on how things go, I'll tell you when we reach Bruma how we'll be splitting up." Iris' eyes roved her 'men', examining them. She'd be in charge of them... their actions, their fates, no longer their responsibility. She'd maybe led one or two people before, but never this many.
She just hoped she was doing it well so far.
"If there are no objections, let's head out." Iris finished, and began for the large gates of Cloud Ruler Temple.

"It's what you are that worries me."
"What i am.." Mia said, and she sighed. "I wish that i never found any of this out.. I am still confused about what i am supposed to be thinking. I am me.. but am also her." She said quietly referring to her memories of being a healer, and being what she truly was.
"It worries me as well.. because the others will find out.. Jauffre lnow that i know what i am now, so he may already be preparing to make sure i don't do anything. Everyone will think im some kind of monster.. I mean i am the last person they would have expected and after what happened in that gate.. having them realise that it was me is going to have them try to kill me for the deaths of our friends.."
As Mia said this her hands started shaking a little. Vivian had caused to to think about everything that might happen, making her once happy mood dwindle down to a little flicker. "I.. I just want to have one very good evening before everything goes bad.."
Mia looked Vivian in the eye almost pleading. "You can join the others when they find out if that is what you want.. but please..I just want to know what its like.. to have this for the last time.."
Vivian frowned, watching Mia's mood plummet like it was. Reaching across the table, he took her shaking hands in his and held them gently.
"I just want you to know that if I am nervous, it is not necessarily because of what... or who you are.." Vivian spoke slowly, trying to pick words that might get the point across but still improve her mood. "My father... he died to seductive prosttutes. So... I am naturally unnerved and uneasy by women in general. Iris has really been the only one I have truly trusted. I'm trying to get over the past, but it isn't easy." His thumb moved slowly, up, down, up, down, caressing her hand.
"We all need one very good evening, not just you." Vivian cracked a hesitant smile, and nodded a curt thanks as the innkeeper delivered the Cyrodiilic brandy and two glasses.
