If the SS entered Skyrim and Skyrim player entered Fallout 4

Ha!

This is a fun thread. I think I will still take the DB side for a while, and maybe switch to SS later. ;P

DB in the wasteland.

Radiation problem....

I think radiation poisoning would be taken care of by the DB's vampiric immunity to poison.

That live action video was very well made. I believe Bethesda shared it a while back. The thing that bothers me about it is that Dovah uses no magic at all, just a few shouts and 3 items, whereas the (at the time) lone wanderer uses a wide array of weapons.

In a duel, i'd put my money on Dovahkiin. his ability for stealth with Invisibility and muffle are greater than a consumable stealth boy, and the stealth boy can be outdone with detect life shout or spell.

the fatman got a considerable nerf in 4, but even then, if it's considered elemental damage, Dovah can easilly be immune to it.

sheer options alone, Dovah has the upper hand. Burst damage at range is all the SS/LW has going for them.

in a world where people scrounge for survival, Dovah would thrive. but... he'd need to keep his spell usage for spells with 0 cost, since i don't think his magicka would recharge without aetherius raining magicka on him all day/night.

in a world where there is plenty of everything, a true survivor like the fallout heroes may run out of ammo eventually, but would adapt outstandingly. but... could they learn magic?

Sounds good in theory, but I'll bet that energy/rad resistance would equate to spell resistance. Magica IS directed energy, after all. Good luck getting that paralysis spell through a lead-lined T60f torso.

Also, I'll be bringing along my maxed-out gatling laser, and the 70+ FCs I currently have in my inventory. Akatosh will die from old age before I run out of las-bolts, lol.

And I'm sure Farengar could either figure a way to repurpose the Soul Trap spell to recharge Fusion Cores, or modify my Power Armor and Gatling Laser to run on Grand Soul Gems.

Working with the Companions' smithy at the Skyforge, a medieval Power Armor repair station would get built... Imagine a suit of T60 with Dragonbone, Daedric Ebony and Stahlrim parts!

I'd be the second coming of Ysgramor.

SS: So I, uh, take this black soulgem and ram it into the back of my power armor where you attached the dwarven doohicky to?

Farengar: That's right. But it needs to be filled first.

SS: How?

Farengar: By casting soultrap on someone before killing them.

SS: ...

Farengar: Oh, don't worry. Plenty of bandits and forsworn out there who will kill you if they get the chance. No need to go killing innocent townsfolk.

SS: But... human souls?

Farengar: Necromancy is a perfectly acceptable, if sometimes distasteful, subschool of conjuration.

SS: ... Right...

LOL, the fusion core would seem just as weird to Farengar.

Farengar: So, this little yellow cylinder contains....

SS: A star.

Farengar: Riiight. A star. Like the sun.

SS: Yeah, but tiny.

Farengar: Yes. Tiny. A tiny sun. In a tube. Seems legit. (man, and I thought that ex-blade chick was nuts...)

Both would do fine long term imo but the DB would have a much harder time adjusting do to all the technically and radiation. The SS would be a god among man in no time and if he somehow find a way to get power armor fueled by magic they would be unstoppable.

Nah, more like:

Farengar: So this little yellow cylinder contains...

SS: A star.

Farengar: Nonsense. The stars were created when the Magnus Ge fled to Atherius so they wouldn't be destroyed when Mundus was created.

SS: Ok. So it's a small sun then.

Farengar: That was created at the same time when Magnus fled Mundus. Honestly, how can you not know this? Wait, nevermind. I probably don't want to know.

Um... so if energy/rad = magicka resistance, then what good would a gattling laser to vs a Dragonborn who can be fully immune to magickal attacks as of lvl 40 with conventional means? by this standard, all but projectile weapons would be invalidated in the SS's arsenal, excluding missile and mininukes . that leaves you with semi-auto rifles capping at about 150-200 damage fully crafted vs hunting bows capping at about 2250 smithed up. explosives represent the best chance here but with a shield the DB can soak up a lot of them and keep healing himself. The SS is no pushover, but he has too little options if you add stealth, summons, crafting and everything into the mix.

For me this thread is interesting, but it seems like it has parallels to the Superman v Batman topic. Obviously Superman would win. ;)

The Dohvakiin mastering Shouts, Illusion and Conjuration would be Superman, and the SS would be Batman. The contest is the same. That is to say, no contest. Unless Batman (SS) somehow tricks or "gets-the-drop" on Superman (Dohvakiin) with some sort of long range pre-emptive VATS headshot, there can be no real contest.

I understand, the primary topic of this thread is not DB v SS, but SS in Skyrim, and DB in Commonwealth, but it seams to me that Superman in Batman's world would fare far better than Batman in Superman's world. Magic use in the Commonwealth seems to me to be the far more advantageous situation. SS in Skyrim would be at best a pure warrior.

If we allow each to learn and use the ways of their new found world, then it isn't really interesting anymore. SS could learn magic and become just as powerful as anyone else in Skyrim, and DB could learn the language and eventually become a PA mini-nuke using juggernaut the same as anyone else.

Not trolling for Superman v Batman, just stating the obvious. :P
