Requirements:

Oblivion 1.2.416

=================
Description:
=================

The Eska Cair is an Elven Galleon designed to be a player home, located where the Upper Niben meets Lake Rumare.

=================
Details:
=================

On the Eska Cair you'll find a well appointed ship with generous amounts of storage and space. There is also a hidden treasure room containing a few piratical spoils of the former owner. The inquisitive player may also discover an unusual book laying about the ship.

A note from the former owner and key will be given to the player's inventory on start up. When you find the Eska Cair, there is a ladder leading to the deck on the side of the ship. Swim between the ship and the Longboat to reach it.

A future update is planned and being worked on to add several things to complete the mod.
*Make the Longboat beside the Eska Cair sailable. (will require ObSE)
*Add a Potion Sorter
*Add a Brig to the lower deck.
*Add a small crew

Heh... when I saw this white swan of yours floating on the waters, started immediately download although I am usually indifferent to marine topics.,

very, very artful... what is the armor in treasure room?
Where did you get the idea of galleon from?

The armor is Ceremonial White Glass, its a fully retexture set of glass armor with a retextured longsword to match :), here is a screenshot of it:

LOL Thanks very much! The Armor is a beautiful Glass Retexture done by InsanitySorrow. As for the idea, a TESA member by the name of Donnato commented one day that he'd always wanted a proper home on a ship. I wanted a short break from working on my village, have been drooling for at least a month to really use Mr Siika's Elven Galleon, and started building this. :embarrass:

I think any shipyard should try to hire a shipbuilder like you.
And the InsanitySorrow's armor...
Guys, I am installing right now.

That's what a Christmas present should look like.

Well this certainly needs a nudge up! :foodndrink: Enjoy kids! I'll let you all know when I have an update on the sailable longship. Gotta work on IS' schedule on that one as he's the scripting genius. LOL

Nudge up to save from imminent pruning! Eep!

I'm still tinkering with the update for this. Though no one seems to be missing a brig at the moment so at least there's no pressure!

Here's a screenie though to give an idea. http://www.invision.tesalliance.org/forums/uploads/1266894980/gallery_86_22_12711.jpg

Any chance of being able to download this from somewhere I don't need to sign up for? Alternatively, the Nexus, where I am already signed up?

Looks amazing, by the way, which is of course why I'm keen to pick it up. If possible.

Ah nope sorry. :D Only takes a minute to sign up for TESA and the download speeds are fantastic, and there's download resume as well, my favorite feature as my internet connection likes to crap out frequently. :lmao: I don't upload any more mods to Nexus for reasons which are my own. :foodndrink:

Hm. Fair enough, then. But I am very, very curious as to why. Mainly because you're not the only one who's decided this (as I'm sure you're aware).

Any possibility of PMing me about that, if not posting it here? I've never even seen one reason, from the several modders who've (openly) made that decision, let alone a plethora. Which, to my peculiar way of thinking :P, could indicate that it's either a *really* serious reason (not being sure of retaining the rights to your own work, perhaps? people appropriating content left and right?) or... the reverse. But, I haven't seen much evidence for the latter (like, off-the-rails modders leaving in a huff) - so I'm definitely leaning towards the former.

Must be bad, I guess. Should I consider "not shopping there", so to speak?

The Nexus is still a good place to go for mods simply because they have the lion's share to choose from. :lmao: As for why I don't upload there anymore, I'll PM you as it's certainly not my place to bad mouth one site on another and Nexus does do some things well.
