The Evil Within Graphics for Current Gen Consoles

Post » Wed Sep 24, 2014 8:05 am

For the past few months I have seen demos for the evil within. As impressive as they seem, a question I always find myself asking is how the game will look for current gen consoles like the xbox 360 and the playstation 3. I'm not gonna lie, I cannot afford any of the next gen consoles so i'm wondering I will get my money's worth of the game if I purchase it on the xbox 360 version?

Graphics don't make a game.
I understand your question though, so I can give this as an example...

I have seen the new Wolfenstein and Destiny both on the 360 and on the Xbox One. The new gen obviously looks better, but there was nothing about the 360 graphics that made the games look bad or outdated. They look like high quality 360 games.

Unless you think that games made for the 360 and PS3 were always ugly. If so, any game you play on there will look bad to you. But games designed for next gen aren't going to look worse than any other recent last gen game. They maintain as much of the next gen graphics as possible.

If you enjoy the game, then you will surely get your moneys worth, regardless of what the game looks like.

There are very noticeable visual enhancements for the game on new consoles, but having played through the game first on PlayStation 3, I can tell you it's still a great gameplay experience on previous gen consoles.

PS4 and Xbox One are current gen consoles.
