Nothing was said about beast feet yet, so there's still hope.

Pretty sure one of the devs confirmed that they didn't have enough time to implement it. I guess there's always hope that that announcement was just meant to hide the surprise, but I doubt it.

Seriously, the fan-boyims here...

Can you guys look past the graphics and get into your head that OBVIOUSLY a 2011 game has better graphics than a 2002 game?? And that's not what makes a game better?

Argonians are a step back.

I was referring to the design of the face, not the quality of the graphics. I miss beast legs and the counter-balanced stance w/ tail as much as the next guy, but at least the upper bodies look like actual reptiles instead of bug-eyed masks. Just look at the awesome dewlaps too! I hope those move realistically!

Someone should do an Evolution of Bosmer.

Arena and Daggerall - Alright

Morrowind - Lol, Fargoth

Oblivion - Ugh, Adoring Fan/ Glathiar

Skyrim - uhh, yes my lord..

Agreed bosmer more now look more....tribal but looking at some of the screens of other races im assuming we will be able to make our bosmer less dunmeric and more.... midgety

Well, the face of that Skyrim argonian female sure looked great.

But it makes all the worse, for me, to think argonians still have boobs and human legs. *sigh*

Yeah, the improvement is obvious, and far greater than can be explained by mere time or technology; Skyrim's Argonians are just a much more appealing design. If they have bestial feet, all the better, but they already look vastly better than I dared to hope.

As always, as it seems in these evolution threads:

Skyrim >> Morrowind >> Oblivion

Morrowind's Argonian heads were like lizards which I liked.

Oblivion's heads were like turtles, or potatoes, which I disliked.

Now, Skyrim's head, looks like velociraptors, which I love.

Seriously...????? Why do all "evolution" pics have a completely graphic modded Morrowind pics?? Each evolution pic the morrowind looks better than Oblvion. I want to see a vanilla Morrowind Argonian if there is a pic of one. I know they didn't look that good.

Rather, they look to me more like the http://images.uesp.net/3/39/Lore-race-Argonian.png Although, why did Bethesda get rid of the visible fangs? It really detracts from how fearsome they look.

There's no way that's an original Argonian from Morrowind. I haven't played it in a while, but i know they looked funny and way worse graphically (good for 2002 graphics but these days bad of course)

The texture may be a bit more detailed than it appeared on the Xbox version of the game, but there is definitely an argonian head with that texture and shape in the game. That picture was I think released before the game even came out. No chance that it's modded.

when doing a comparison, i'd say it would be better if all pics are in the same context which would be in this case, gameplay pics of argonians throughout the series, having a pre-rendered image in there just makes it seem the odd one out.

MFW people demand a level playing field where Morrowind is concerned, but have no problem with using chargen screens with awful flat lighting and the default features/coloration for Oblivion --> :banghead:

Oh stop being so dramatic, of course you can have an opinion...as long as it isn't different than mine :teehee: And I quite like Oblivion and it's Argonians, more so than Morrowind and it's Argonians. I just didn't like the overbite they always had, but it's easy to ignore after a while. And since I am no vampire, I shall respectfully decline your offer of biting you.

Shame that they still have humanoid bodies (complete with nonsensical briasts for the females). But still...the face looks really cool!
